Abstract:
A mould for manufacturing three-dimensional items, comprising a body; a lid configured to close the body; and incorporated closing and openings configured to keep the body and the lid joined during the movement thereof is disclosed. A machine for manufacturing three-dimensional items, comprising a receiving module configured to receive the mould; a conditioning module configured to receive the mould from the receiving module and act on the incorporated closing and openings in order to separate the lid from the body; and a handling module configured to receive the body from the conditioning module and enable the placement of the components of the item to be manufactured. A method for manufacturing three-dimensional items and manufacturing plant associated with the machine.
Abstract:
An article of footwear has an upper that is direct attached with the sole. The sole has a film extending up sidewalls of the sole to a film edge that is prior to the sidewall and the upper joining. Method of manufacture of the article of footwear includes steps of positioning a film over a mold cavity and then securing the film to the mold. The film is heated and then drawn into the mold cavity under a vacuum. The film forms a liner of the mold cavity. A foam composition is injected into the lined mold cavity. As the foam composition expands, the foam composition interacts with and mechanically engages with the upper that is poisoned at the mold cavity to allow for the mechanical engagement that results in the direct attach of the sole to the upper. The film is then trimmed from the sole sidewalls.
Abstract:
Described are a method and a system for automatically manufacturing shoes. The method includes automatically manufacturing a plurality of soles in a first station and automatically manufacturing a plurality of uppers in a second station, wherein the first and the second station are operating in parallel and are arranged in a common facility so that a manufactured sole and a manufactured upper can be transported to a joining station and be automatically joined there.
Abstract:
Method for providing shoes simultaneously comprising two lasts upon which the upper is arranged; a mould comprising an upper mould part and a lower mould part, said upper mould part comprising a first side frame and a second side frame and between them an middle frame, the side frames being laterally movable, said mould comprising two cavities and the method comprising the steps; providing an outsole in the lower mould part, placing an upper in each cavity, moving the two side frames in a straight and linear movement towards the inner mould injecting a composition into a space between the upper and the outsole moving the lower mould part towards the upper.
Abstract:
An article of footwear including a fabric upper and at least one connector having an upper member with two spaced sidewalls. At least a portion of the upper being inserted between and co-molded with the sidewalls of the connector.
Abstract:
Disclosed are shoes of an automated process production and a shoemaking method thereof. Each of the shoes of an automated process production comprises a shoe-upper material, a shoe sole and a plastic material. The shoe-upper material is one piece and includes a shoe-upper and a footrest underside coupled with each other. The plastic material is coated onto the shoe-upper and the footrest underside and filled between the footrest underside and the shoe sole, and the plastic material forms at least one support member attached to the shoe-upper and the footrest underside. The shoe sole is coupled to the footrest underside by plastic material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an upper assembly (12) for a waterproof, water vapor permeable footwear article (10), the upper assembly comprising a laminate (16) including a waterproof water vapor permeable functional layer (22) and an inner lining layer (24) directly attached to the functional layer (22) on an inner side of functional layer (22), the inner lining layer (24) being a knitted or woven fabric made with monofilaments.
Abstract:
A method for making shoes includes a first mold made of stiff material and a second mold has a concavity in which the shoe is received. The shoe includes a top portion, a connection member and an outsole, wherein the connection member and the outsole are connected to the top portion. The second mold transmits ultra-sonic thermo energy to the connection member and the outsole, so that the connection member and the outsole are properly shrank and securely matched to the top portion.
Abstract:
An improved waterproof shoe incorporates several improvements. All layer-edges are connected to a net-typed insole. Neighboring layers are glued together to reduce leaking tunnels formed by crinkles therebetween. An ethylene vinyl acetate with a broad melt transition is added as a spacer to ensure sufficient injection spaces. Net-typed material is used for the material insole to ensure tension stress and mesh size. A water-absorbent and durable lining is added inside the waterproof functional layer to protect the functional layer from the damage by foot. Different materials are used for the sole to distinguish an inner sole which has the best injecting character and an outer sole which is commonly used for touching the ground.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing an article of footwear having a direct attach sole component includes providing an upper and a receptacle shell that defines a receptacle adapted to receive a cushion insert. A molding insert is placed into the receptacle, and the upper is joined with the receptacle shell. A mold is closed about the receptacle shell and at least a portion of the upper to form a mold cavity corresponding to the direct attach sole component. Material is introduced into the mold cavity to form the direct attach sole component. The mold insert protects the shell from deformation during the molding process. The mold insert is removed and replaced with a cushioning insert after the molding process. The footwear can optionally include a partially transparent shell that supports a sole component that receives a cushion insert, such that the cushion insert and/or sole component are visible through the shell.
