Abstract:
The invention relates to an electrically driven device, for example an electric hair removal device, such as a wet or dry shaver, an electric toothbrush or an electric skin treatment device. The electrically driven device comprises a housing having a chassis, wherein the chassis comprises an electric motor having a first drive shaft, a battery unit, and an oscillating body having a second drive shaft. A first longitudinal axis is defined arranged along the second drive shaft, a second longitudinal axis is defined arranged along the first drive shaft, and a third longitudinal axis is defined arranged through the center of the body of the battery unit, wherein the second longitudinal axis and/or the third longitudinal axis are parallel offset to the first longitudinal axis.
Abstract:
An oscillatory linear actuator includes an electromagnet that changes a magnetic field periodically, a first movable body, a second movable body, a holder, and a coupling spring. The first movable body is disposed on one side in the first direction of the electromagnet, includes a permanent magnet, and acts on a target object. The permanent magnet reciprocates in a second direction intersecting with the first direction by the electromagnet. The second movable body is juxtaposed to the first movable body and reciprocates in the second direction. The holder holds the first and second movable bodies to provide space between the first and second movable bodies and the electromagnet and to allow the first and second movable bodies to move in the second direction. The coupling spring is disposed on one side in the first direction of the holder and couples the first movable body and the second movable body.
Abstract:
An electric shaver with a drive shaft having a first rotary axis and a drive pin connected to the drive shaft eccentrically with respect to the rotary axis, and a driven shaft having a second rotary axis. The driven shaft is indirectly coupled to the drive shaft by a gear mechanism capable of converting a rotary motion of the drive shaft into a reciprocating motion of the driven shaft.
Abstract:
A hand-held hair cutting appliance has a housing, a first cutting blade, and a second cutting blade. The first cutting blade is capable of reciprocating movement relative to the housing. A drive assembly is operatively connected to the first cutting blade for drivingly reciprocating the first cutting blade relative to the housing. A counter weight is adapted for reciprocating movement relative to the housing in response to reciprocating movement of the first cutting blade. The counter weight has at least one of a mass and a location relative to the first cutting blade to thereby at least partially counter-balance the reciprocating movement of the first cutting blade.
Abstract:
An electric shaving apparatus including a housing and a shaving head. The shaving head is coupled to the housing by at least one first elastic element and includes at least one first shaving element. The electric shaving apparatus includes in addition an electric motor for generating an oscillatory motion of the shaving head and an oscillatory motion differing therefrom of at least one second shaving element. The electric motor includes two drive components of which a first drive component is adapted to be driven to oscillate relative to a second drive component. One of the drive components is connected to the second shaving element. The second shaving element or a drive part connected thereto is equipped with an elastic connection to the shaving head.
Abstract:
A small electric appliance with a drive mechanism for generating an oscillatory motion of at least one working unit of the small electric appliance. The drive mechanism has a first drive component, a second drive component, and a coil for producing a magnetic field that extends from the first drive component and acts on the second drive component that is movably arranged in the small electric appliance, in such a way that the second drive component is set in an oscillatory motion. The first drive component is movably arranged in the small electric appliance in order to execute an oscillatory motion in phase opposition to the second drive component, and the drive mechanism is fastened to the small electric appliance by means of at least one first spring element.
Abstract:
An electric razor includes an actuator, an outer cutter and an inner cutter. The actuator has a first vibrator and a second vibrator. The outer cutter and the inner cutter are respectively supported at the first vibrator and the second vibrator so that the cutters can slide against each other. The actuator vibrates the first vibrator and the second vibrator so that the vibrators slide in reciprocation toward opposite directions to each other. Even though vibration of the first vibrator is interrupted by external force through the outer cutter, the second vibrator relatively vibrates so as to slide in reciprocation with respect to the first vibrator and therefore it is easy to meet specified shaving performance.
Abstract:
Dry shaving apparatus comprises a drive source provided in a housing; a first shaving unit (111) having a first outer cutter and a first undercutter coupled to the drive source and mounted for movement beneath said first outer cutter, and a second shaving unit (112, 113), having a second outer cutter and a second undercutter coupled to the drive source and mounted for oscillatory movement beneath said second outer cutter. The first outer cutter is coupled to the drive source and is mounted for oscillatory movement to serve as a skin agitation member; and the first outer cutter and the second undercutter are arranged to be driven at the same frequency by the drive source.
Abstract:
An electric shaver including a main body case provided therein with an inner cutter drive mechanism and a swingable shaver head installed on the main body case and has a plurality of reciprocating cutter units oriented parallel to each other in the lateral width direction of the main body case, wherein at least one of the reciprocating cutter units is raised or lowered; and by a combination of the raised or lowered position of one reciprocating cutter unit and the swung position of the shaver head, a selection of the operation mode that corresponds to one of at least three shaving areas including the area beneath the nose, the area beneath the jaw and the cheeks is made. Furthermore, mode selection switches for the operation modes are disposed above and below and on the left and right of a central main switch, the switches graphically depicting a human face.
