    摘要: Stabilized cutting tool assemblies. A cutting tool assembly for use with a reference surface includes a tool holder having a rotational axis. The tool holder is arranged for attachment to a drive source arranged to rotate the tool holder and move the tool holder relative to a reference surface. The cutting tool assembly includes a rotatable cutting tool coupled to the tool holder. The cutting tool includes a cutting surface and has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is disposed adjacent the tool holder. The cutting tool assembly includes a stabilizer coupled to the cutting tool adjacent the second portion. The stabilizer has a bearing surface. The bearing surface is positioned on the second portion to abut the reference surface and to stabilize the cutting tool when the drive source moves the tool holder and the cutting tool to a position adjacent the reference surface.

    摘要: Track saws with self-adjusting rib-guide assemblies and methods of operating self-adjusting rib-guide assemblies of track saws are disclosed herein. The track saws include a motor, an arbor, and a base plate. The base plate defines an arbor-facing side and an arbor-opposed side. The base plate includes a rib-receiving channel and a self-adjusting rib-guide assembly. The self-adjusting rib-guide assembly at least partially defines the rib-receiving channel and is configured to automatically accommodate a range of raised rib transverse widths. The methods include positioning a raised elongate rib of the track within a rib-receiving channel of a base plate of the track saw. During the positioning, the methods also include establishing a contact force between the raised elongate rib and the self-adjusting rib-guide assembly. Responsive to the contact force, the methods further include moving at least a portion of the self-adjusting rib-guide assembly relative to a remainder of the track saw.

    摘要: A pile cutting device is used with a work vehicle including a tool supporting arm assembly for cutting a pile. The device has a main frame carried on the arm assembly of the work vehicle. A first clamp on the frame is clamped about the pile for fixing the frame relative to the pile. A cutting assembly on the main frame includes a saw blade supported on a cutter linkage to move the blade about the pile and cut a pile section from the pile when the remaining lower portion of the pile remains secured within the lower clamp. A second clamp on the frame is clamped about the cut pile section of the pile before cutting. The first clamp is released after cutting so that the cut pile section within the second clamp can be moved away from the remaining lower portion of the pile together with work vehicle subsequent to cutting.
