    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a mesh container and a method of making a mesh container that has a first and a second set of opposing side panels, a bottom panel, and a rim directed outwards from the upper edges of the side panels. At least two adjacent sides panels of the container and portion of the rim directed outwardly from the upper edge of the side panels are made from a sheet metal precursor with least one perforated and a stretched portion and unstretched metal portion. The precursor is folded so that the unstretched metal portion joins the two side panels and is bent to form the rim. A notch is cut from the edge of the unstretched metal portion where it is bent at the corner formed by the two side panels.

    摘要: A mold for molding a case of a mobile device includes a first, second, third, fourth and fifth main body, connection slide blocks, and first and second abutment slide blocks. The connection slide blocks and the second abutment slide blocks are inlaid in first and second slide channels of the first and second main bodies. The first abutment slide blocks are inlaid in channels of the connection slide blocks. The third, fourth and fifth main bodies are horizontally movable relative to the first and second main bodies. The first and second main bodies, the connection slide blocks and the first and second abutment slide blocks together define a male mold section and the third, fourth and fifth main bodies together define a female mold section. A metal thin sheet is placed on the male mold section and pressurized and molded by the female mold section to form the case.

    摘要: A method of forming a pair of opposed side walls and a pair of opposed end walls of a sheet metal casket shell from a single piece of sheet metal. The piece of sheet metal has opposite ends and a length equal to the combined length of the pair of side walls and the pair of end walls of the casket shell to be formed. The opposite ends of the piece of sheet metal are secured together to form a tube. A roll forming roller is positioned in an interior of the tube. A female die configured to produce a desired profile for the side walls and the end walls of the casket shell is positioned around an exterior of the tube. The roller is moved outwardly so as to contact an interior surface of the tube and deform the tube toward a die cavity of the female die. The roller is rolled around a perimeter of the interior of the tube so as to deform the perimeter of the tube toward the die cavity of the female die. The desired profile for the side walls and the end walls of the casket shell is thereby produced.

    摘要: A two-dimensional sheet material is provided that is suitable for bending along a bend line to form a three-dimensional object. The sheet material is provided with a plurality of displacements in a thickness direction of the sheet material on one side of the bend line. A portion of the displacements shear adjacent the bend line and define an edge and an opposed face. The edge and opposed face configured to produce edge-to-face engagement of the sheet material during bending. Alternatively, sheet material is provided with a plurality of displacements in a thickness direction of the sheet material on one or both sides of the bend line, and with a plurality of corresponding and cooperating protrusions to improve structural integrity and/or to improve electromagnetic and radio frequency shielding. The sheet material may also be provided with a self-latching structure. A method of preparing and using these sheet materials is also described.
