    摘要: A method of detecting an overall dimension of a plate-shaped workpiece to be processed on a processing machine by a contactless-acting sensor includes moving the workpiece by a motion device of the processing machine in a predetermined direction until the sensor detects a first workpiece edge by a first change of state, detecting a first position of the workpiece where the first change of state happens by an evaluation device connected to the sensor, moving the workpiece by the motion device in a direction toward a second workpiece edge until the sensor detects the second workpiece edge by a second change of state, detecting a second position of the workpiece where the second change of state happens by the evaluation device, and determining an overall dimension of the workpiece by a determination of a distance between the first position and the second position of the workpiece.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device for feeding long workpieces into a processing machine, such as a bend-straightening machine, and discharging them therefrom, in which the long workpiece which is located in the processing positions defines a processing section and the long workpiece is supported at its two end regions by, in each case, one grasping device. A horizontal conveying means for the long workpiece adjoins at least one head end of the processing section as a straight prolongation of the processing section. At least one of the grasping devices has a gripping head for gripping in a frictionally locking fashion one end of the workpiece which is conveyed here by the horizontal conveying means, and drive means for pulling the workpiece to be straightened into the processing section and for pushing the straightened workpiece out onto the at least one horizontal conveying means by means of the gripping head.

Each of the tandem press includes a bed, 11, plural uprights 13a to 13d studded on the bed, and a slide 15 supported on the uprights to be ascended or descended. The main member 62 and 63 is provided at a portion located inside the uprights of the adjacent two tandem presses constructing the tandem pressing line and does not interfer with the slide. The arm member 65 is held on the main member to transfer the work having been pressed by the upstream tandem press to the downstream tandem press.

The blank is transferred from a prebending station to a preforming station along the transfer line, wherein the blank is preformed by a single-action forming tool into a preform blank. The preform blank is then transferred from the preforming station to a finish-forming station along the transfer line, wherein the blank is finish-formed by a single-action forming tool into the component. The component is transferred from the finish-forming station to a cooling station along the transfer line. The transfer steps are carried out by a reciprocating transfer mechanism that simultaneously transfers the blanks and component from station to station along the transfer line.

The ram axis control means 33 rotates a servomotor 19 in one direction. Moreover, the ram axis control means 33 controls in a motor speed pattern VP based on the distance of transferring the plate material after the punch tool 6 goes up from the pullout height HH2 and the servomotor 19 is prevented from stopping as possible. The motor speed pattern VP is made to be a trapezoid pattern that the acceleration is constant.
