摘要: An apparatus and method for grading sensitive products. The apparatus and method treat the objects to be graded gently and are accurate and may be constructed so as to handle extremely large quantities. The grading device has grading channels that are wider at the outlet than at the intake. The belt machine draws the objects forward between two inclined belts which form the channel An adjusting device is implemented perpendicular underneath the belts of the apparatus having alternatively arranged support members and adjusting members arranged on an adjusting screwing shaft. Both components have screwing sections which regulate an increase or a decrease in the gap between the support members when the adjusting screwing shaft is rotated.

摘要: Raw plums fed into a receiving tank and washer (1) are conveyed by a platform elevator (2) to a cord-type sizing device which enables their distribution toward two tray-carrying chains (5A and 5B). The trays are stacked on carts carried by platform elevators (8A and 8B). Once they have been filled, the carts can be transported to a cooking oven (9).

摘要: An apparatus for advancing and sorting objects in respect of their size comprises a plurality of juxtaposed, endless conveyor belts (10) and gaps (9) between adjacent conveyor belts, each conveyor belt consisting of a plurality of hinged segments or chain elements (11) and a system (23, 24) for driving the conveyor belts. To obtain an advancement of the objects which is as lenient and noiseless as possible, the conveyor belts (10) are combined with and guided by guide rails (30) which extend substantially along the entire run of the belt which advances the objects. The guide rails are so arranged and designed, that the gap (9) between mutually adjacent conveyor belts continually increases along at least the major part of said belt run. Each belt segment (11) comprises a bridge portion which as seen in a cross section forms an inverted V and the ends of which are moveable with respect to each other in a direction which is substantially perpendicular to the advancement direction of the belt and are each connected to an individual base portion (13) which embraces and is guided by the two longitudinal edges of the guide rail (30).

摘要: An aggregate separator has a fan-shaped separating surface made up of an array of diverging end-stretched wires which are permitted to oscillate individually in response to vibratory stimulus. The surface includes a plurality of identical fan-shaped panels, each panel including a plurality of wires and a pair of end sheaths which retain the ends of the wires in fixed relation to each other so that the wires of each panel diverge. Each panel is stretched on the frame of the separator until the length and tension of the wires are substantially the same. Intermediate transverse bridges may be used to position the wires between the upstream and downstream ends of the separator and ensure that the effective spacing between adjacent oscillating wires does not exceed the exit interval.
