    Abstract: A pump 1 for dispensing a cosmetic product, having a pump body 10 and a diaphragm 20. The pump body 10 and the diaphragm 20 are rigidly interconnected and together define an interior space 19 in the pump 1. The pump 1 is equipped with an intake valve 222, which is designed to regulate the intake of the cosmetic product into said interior space 19. The pump 115 is equipped with an outlet valve 201, which is designed to regulate the expulsion of the cosmetic product from said interior space 19. The dispensing pump 1 is designed such that the diaphragm 20 being pushed down causes the intake valve 222 to close and the outlet valve 201 to open, and such that the diaphragm 20 being released causes the outlet valve 201 to close and the intake valve 222 to open.

    Abstract: An exemplary refill unit for a dispenser includes an inverted non-collapsing container for holding a liquid. A pump housing is secured to the bottom of the inverted non-collapsing container. The pump housing includes a pump chamber for pumping fluid out of the inverted non-collapsing container. The pump housing includes an annular venting chamber. The annular venting chamber has a floor with an opening therethrough. A vent valve is located within the venting chamber. The vent valve has a first wiper seal in contact with a wall of the annular venting chamber.

    Abstract: A device for mixing and dispensing fluids has first and second walls that form a chamber connected to a nozzle. Inlets each configured to receive one fluid are arranged in the first wall. Proximate edges of the inlets are an equal distance from a central point on the first wall. A seal having top and bottom surfaces and a center through hole is positioned in the chamber. The center hole is substantially aligned with the central point. A surface area of the top surface is greater than a sum of the sectional areas of the inlets. A dispensing pump moves the seal between a sealed position in which the bottom surface seals the inlets and an open position in which the bottom surface is spaced away from the inlets to open the inlets to draw the fluids into the chamber to form the mixture for dispensing through the nozzle.

    Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of pumps, refill units and dispensers are disclosed herein. Some embodiments include a container for holding a fluid and a pump housing secured to the container. The pump housing includes an annular collar for securing the pump housing to the container.
