A grinder for grinding relatively loose materials includes a reducing unit and a screen arrangement. The arcuate screen defines a plurality of tracks of apertures that extend in a cutting direction of the cutters. In some cases, only one respective cutter passes over each track and each cutter passes over only the respective one of the tracks. The width of a cutter may be greater than a width of the apertures of a track. The apertures of the screen arrangement may form chevron patterns. The screens may be clamped to a frame by coupling members extending through notches in the screen.

A scrap material recycling apparatus includes a feeder, a shredder and a separator, the feeder and the shredder mutually coupled, and the shredder and separator mutually coupled. The feeder includes a means for compressing a quantity of scrap material and means for advancing the scrap material to the shredder. The shredder includes a grate assembly and a rotor, the rotor having a plurality of cutting means, the rotor mechanically rotated to reduce the scrap material. The separator separates the reduced scrap material by fractional composition. The recycling apparatus may be configured so as to be a transportable system, thereby allowing such system to be relocated at or near scrap material stockpile locations.

This disclosure is drawn to systems, devices, apparatuses, and/or methods, related to milling particles in drilling fluid. Specifically, the disclosed systems, devices, apparatuses, and/or methods relate to milling particles in drilling fluid using multiple milling techniques. Some example apparatuses may include a first mill to grind particles from the original diameter to a first reduced diameter, and a second mill to grind the particles from the first reduced diameter to a second reduced diameter, where the second reduced diameter is less than the first reduced diameter.
Abstract:
An aggregate accelerator for sorting a material such as coal from rock is presented. The accelerator includes a housing, a grizzly, a flail assembly, an impact grate assembly and lower grate(s). The grizzly allows material of a certain size to pass through the grizzly. The flail assembly has independent paddles configured to spin generally adjacent and co-planer due to centrifugal force and hit material to be separated from rock. The impact grate assembly receives and further breaks material hit by the flail assembly. The lower grate(s) allow material of a predetermined size to pass through the lower grate(s) to be collected. The lower grate(s) do not allow material larger than the predetermined size to pass through the lower grate(s) so that this material can be discarded.

The present disclosure relates to a material reducing machine including a rotary reducing component positioned at least partially within a reducing chamber. A sizing screen defines a portion of the reducing chamber and extends at least partially around the rotary reducing component. Material catches are disclosed for preventing elongated strips of material from snaking longitudinally through the sizing screen without being adequately reduced in length.

The invention relates to a sieve mill (10) comprising a basket (12) having a curved inner side for supporting a sieve (14) which rests on the curved inner side of the sieve basket (12), and two longitudinal edges (32, 34) which are parallel and opposite each other, also comprising a material inlet (18) arranged above the sieve (14) and a cylindrical rotor (16) which is arranged such that it can rotate inside the sieve basket (12). In order to secure the sieve (14) in the basket (12) in a simple and precise manner, one longitudinal edge (32) of the sieve (14) is arranged in a first retaining bar (28) which has a first positioning recess (36) for receiving the longitudinal edge (32), and the other longitudinal edge (34) of the sieve (14) is arranged in a second retaining bar (30) which has a second positioning recess (38) for receiving the other longitudinal edge (34), said second retaining bar (30) can pivot between an open position in which the second positioning recess (38) can withdraw and feed the associated longitudinal edge (34) of the sieve (14), and a closed position in which the second positioning recess (38) exerts pressure upon said longitudinal edge (34).

The present disclosure relates to a comminution apparatus including a rotational reducing unit that is rotatable about an axis of rotation. The rotational reducing unit includes a plurality of material reducing components that are mounted to a carrier. The material reducing components are rotated by the carrier in a first direction about the axis of rotation. The comminution apparatus also includes a screen at least partially surrounding the rotational reducing unit. The screen defines a plurality of sizing slots that have slot lengths and slot widths. The slots are elongated along the slot lengths such that the slot lengths are longer than the slot widths.
