摘要: A cookware and geometrically patterned magnetic stirrer assembly provides cookware for heating and stirring food. A heating element heats a cooking surface on the cookware. At least one geometrically patterned electromagnetic coil is integrated into the cookware. The electromagnetic coil generates a magnetic field when an electrical current passes through. At least one magnetic stirrer operates on the cooking surface to stir the food in response to the magnetic field, in accordance to the path of geometric pattern. Controllably applying varying electrical currents through the electromagnetic coil moves the magnetic stirrer in the path of the geometric pattern at varying speeds and directions. The electromagnetic coil can be arranged in a snowflake pattern, a spider web pattern, or a helix. A controller regulates electrical current through the heating element and the electromagnetic coil to allow the heating and stirring functions to operate independently of each other.

The device then determines a threshold relation between a rotating speed Ω of an impeller in the nozzle and a volumetric flow rate Q of fluids that flow through the nozzle based on the material property of the plurality of fluids, the structure property of the printing nozzle. Based on the threshold relation, the device then determines an actual volumetric flow rate of the fluids and actual rotation speed of the impeller.

摘要: Methods and a slaker for removal of heavy grit during batchwise slaking of burnt lime in a slaker (2) for the production of lime slurry with a high degree of fineness and prolonged sedimentation time are described, where the following processing steps are carried out during the slaking process: a)—reduction of the stirring of the slaker (2) from a normal stirring speed to a lower stirring speed, b)—opening of an upper inlet valve (60) in a collector (70) mounted in the lower part (54) of the slaker (2) to lead sinking grit in the slurry batch to the collector (70), whereupon the upper inlet valve (60) is closed after a given time period, c)—increase the stirring in the slaker (2) back to the normal stirring speed, d)—after a given time period with normal stirring speed, a regulating valve (22) in the lower part (54) of the slaker (2) is opened for emptying of a batch of slurry to an external storage tank (3), and e)—when said regulating valve (22) is opened for emptying of a batch of slurry, a lower outlet valve (62) in the collector is optionally opened for emptying of collected grit.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to compositions and methods for making a pharmaceutical composition by thermokinetic compounding, wherein the compositions include one or more thermolabile components, for example one or more active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. The methods comprise thermokinetic processing of the thermolabile components into a composite by blending certain thermolabile components in a thermokinetic mixer using multiple speeds during a single, rotationally continuous operation. The composite can be further processed into pharmaceutical compositions by conventional methods known in the art, such as hot melt extrusion, melt granulation, compression molding, tablet compression, capsule filling, film-coating, or injection molding.

An after-mixing device is provided between the pre-mixing device and the baking mass dispensing device for the subsequent continuous addition of a powder such as, in particular, powder which tends to clump such as in particular flour, wheat flour, cereal flour, legume flour, powder having high water absorption, pre-gelatinized flour, pre-gelatinized starch and/or thickening agent. A method for the continuous production and dispensing of the baking mass is also provided.

In addition to this process for amplification of aggregated state prion protein from native conformation prion protein, the invention relates to the aggregated state prion protein obtained by the amplification process, which aggregated state prion protein has one conformation, which is e.g. identical within one batch and reproducible between batches, e.g. as detectable by proteinase resistance in a Western blot.
