    摘要: An animatronic doll having a motor, a head frame pivotally mounted to a neck carrier, a bevel gear and a pinion gear connected to a head shaft, a first gear, and a second gear. The pinion gear is engaged with a rack of the head frame. The first gear is configured to be driven by the bevel gear and is rotatable between a first position, a second position, and a third position. The first gear does not drive the second gear when the first gear is rotated between the first position and the second position. The first gear drives the second gear when the first gear is rotated between the second position and the third position. Rotation of the head shaft rotates the pinion gear and pivots the head frame. Rotation of the second gear may rotate arms of the doll. The arms may include friction clutches.

    摘要: An animal tail-wagging simulation device includes a housing, a circuit board mounted in the housing and provided with a driving coil, and a swinging arm pivotably coupled with the housing via a shaft. The swinging arm has an upper U-shaped portion. The driving coil is disposed in a middle of the U-shaped portion. Two sides of the U-shaped portion are provided respectively with two permanent magnets. When the driving coil is energized, electromagnetic field is generated and interacts with the permanent magnets to drive the swinging arm to swing. A swinging unit is provided at a lower end of the swinging arm. The swinging unit includes a swinging plate pivotably coupled with the swinging arm, and an adjustable counterweight.

When touch sensor action sections 156a to 156c provided on a bottom face 150b of the robot act on a touch pad, an information processing device shows a face image in a rectangular area 16 of a display screen 14 of the touch panel. The rectangular area 16 corresponds to the bottom face of the robot. The face image is grabbed from the bottom face 150b of the robot 150 and appears in a face section 152. Further, the brightness of pixels in areas 18a and 18b of the display screen 14 is changed. The areas 18a and 18b correspond to optical sensors 160a and 160b provided on the bottom face 150b of the robot. The robot 150 detects the change in question, converting the change into a motion of an internal actuator, sound output, light emission, and so on in accordance with predetermined rules.

    摘要: In one embodiment there is provided a mechanical device capable of mimicking a serpentine motion. The mechanical device includes a plurality of segmented portions interconnected consecutively at pivoted junctions. A rotational motor and an eccentric weight are secured about one segmented portion and at least one pair of legs extends from a segmented portion towards a contact surface and causes the segmented portion to move in a direction defined as the rotational motor rotates the eccentric weight. The additional segmented portions following the segmented leg portion follow in a serpentine motion as these portions rock and pivot to counter-balance the undulation caused by the segmented leg portion.

Once a particular character is activated, game play proceeds according to preset rules. A rotatable cam including a recess captures an internal actuator and completely shuts down a motor at a defined cam rotation to preserve the battery life in the toy. A resetting biasing lever coupled, to a manually operable actuator advances the cam and is then moved from engagement so as to completely shut down the motor at the defined cam rotation even if the manually operable actuator continues to be depressed. Further Thusly the internal actuator 18 facilitates limited activations of the motor for automatically shutting off a rotating cam mechanism to prevent repetitive continued operation. Further the internal actuator may provide powering up the motor and rotating the cam for “try me” operation for limited demonstrative operations of the toy while packaged or configured in a point of sale environment.

The musical figurine may also have movement capabilities which may be coordinated with the playing of an audio file to present a dancing figurine.
