Abstract:
A golf bag comprises a bag body (1). A club protection cover (3) capable of axially sliding along a packet mouth (2) is disposed in the packet mouth (2) at an upper end of the bag body (1). A slide mechanism (4) is disposed between the club protection cover (3) and the packet mouth (2). The club protection cover (3) is connected in the packet mouth (2) through the slide mechanism (4). The golf bag can prevent damage to the club, and extend the service life of the club.
Abstract:
There is provided a cover for umbrellas and the like. The assembly includes a nearly cylindrical cover made of a material or materials that can have at least one waterproof layer. The cover is closed at one end to itself or to the article to which it is permanently attached. The opposite end of the cover is open and is bound to a rigid to semi-rigid often-deformable ring-like structure. When not in use or dormant, the cover is considered inside out which is the side that is often most waterproof and it will lay in approximation to the article to which it is attached. When the cover is employed, the ring is disposed over the article and the cover's closed end and urged along the article to the end of said cover. Thusly, the cover is inverted exposing its dry, clean exterior.
Abstract:
The invention is an apparatus and method for extending a cover for a golf cart. The invention is preferably configured for attachment to a support frame of a golf cart, wherein the support frame supports a roof for the golf cart. The apparatus includes a stationary main frame member, brackets for mounting the stationary main frame member to the golf cart, a movable frame member, and a cover. The stationary main frame member is suitable for receipt by the brackets, which are in turn mounted to the upper portion of the support frame and possibly to the roof of the golf cart. The movable frame member is operatively secured to the stationary main frame member, and configured to pivotably rotate over a portion of the rear compartment of the golf cart. The cover is configured for attachment to the movable frame member so that when the movable frame member rotates over a portion of the rear compartment of the golf cart, the cover covers a portion of the rear compartment of the golf cart.
Abstract:
Golf bag and locking club organizer in which a cover plate having openings for receiving the shafts of clubs and holding the clubs in a predetermined order is mounted to the top of the bag, with lock pieces pivotally suspended beneath the cover plate for swinging movement toward and away from the axes of the openings for blocking and permitting removal of the clubs from the bag, a lock plate engagable with the lock pieces and movable between first and second positions for selectively blocking or permitting movement of the lock pieces away from the axes of the openings, a lever connected to the lock plate and extending through an opening the cover plate for moving the lock plate between the first and second positions, and a lock bar movable into and out of engagement with the lock plate for retaining the lock plate in the position in which movement of the lock pieces away from the axes is blocked and the clubs cannot be removed from the bag.
Abstract:
A rain protection arrangement for a golf bag (10), which has a rain protection cover (30) which can be folded up in a small volume, in a storage compartment. The storage compartment is in the form of a bag (24) which can temporarily secured to the golf bag (10) by means of a fixing device (26). The rain protection cover (30) is fixedly connected to the bag (24) along a fixing portion.
Abstract:
A telescoping hard case for carrying a golf bag is provided. The hard case includes at least three container sections telescopically moveable between a retracted position and an expanded position, including a bottom section, a middle section, and a top section, wherein the top section slidably nests within the middle section and the middle section slidably nests within the bottom section in the retracted position; and wherein the container sections abut along adjacent edges in the extended position so that a top edge of the bottom section abuts a bottom edge of the middle section, and a top edge of the middle section abuts the bottom edge of the top section. The hard case further includes stopping mechanism to prevent the container sections from becoming detached when in the expanded position and a releasable locking device for locking the container sections in the expanded position.
Abstract:
A wheeled extendable support for long travel cases. When long travel cases are balanced on one corner, a handle on the upper end is too high for ease of use. With this invention, the case is tilted to an angle of 45 degrees or less off the ground and the invented support which has wheels at the bottom is extended from the case to carry a portion of the weight, allowing the handle at the top of the case to be used at a comfortable height. The wheeled support may be built in or added on to a case. The extendable support includes a locking mechanism. The extendable support may be folded upward or downward when collapsed.
Abstract:
There is disclosed herein a travel bag for containing a golf bag and clubs therein formed of a fabric and rigid panel laminated structure. The travel bag includes a bottom having a rigid cap with one or more wheels for allowing the case to be rolled via the wheels. It includes a front side having first and second zipper covers for opening and providing access to internal respective shoe and clothing compartments. The front side has a further zipper closure for allowing the entire front section of the bag to be opened to gain access to the golf bag and clubs compartment. The top includes a handle, and the left side and bottom have laminated therein and L-shaped rigid panel to facilitate movement of the travel case in the fashion of a hand truck. The back, right and top sides have laminated therein rigid panels for providing, along with the L-shaped panel, protection for golf clubs stored within the bag.
Abstract:
A golf bag umbrella adapted for use in a golf bag for providing optimal protection to items stored within the golf bag, having an extendable and retractable shaft and a collapsible and expandable canopy, underneath which is a flexible material, preferably mesh or netting, for preventing the golf clubs from becoming entangled in the support structure for the umbrella canopy. The golf bag umbrella further includes a handle, providing easy movement between an extended position and a lowered position while the canopy is expanded, such that the golf clubs within the golf bag may be easily accessible without having to remove the golf bag umbrella from the bag. The protective material beneath the canopy functions to prevent entanglement between the golf clubs and the support structure of the canopy, which prevents damage to both the support structure and the golf clubs themselves while also avoiding frustration on the part of the golfer as the golfer attempts to remove golf clubs from within the golf bag.
Abstract:
A utility bag for storing equipment for a baseball/softball team. The bag is constructed to be strapped to and transported on a golf cart. The bag includes a bag having a collar at an open end and a cap enclosing a lower end . The collar at the upper end has a recessed shoulder enabling the collar to engage the lip of a bucket of balls so that balls are retained in the bucket when a lid is positioned down onto the collar. A frame inside the utility bag retains the utility bag in an open configuration. A bat bag for storing bats is detachably attached to the outside surface of the bag. The inside of the bag is dimensioned for storing a collection of helmets and catchers gear as well as one or more pouches for storing catcher's shinguards.
