Abstract:
A golf tee having a contact alert coating cooperates with a golf ball and a golf club to provide a novel training aid that is economical, compact, and encourages proper golfing form. The golf tee has a golf tee body with a top plate, top wall and side walls. The top plate is fixedly attached to a shaft which terminates into a point that is inserted into a ground surface when a ball is placed on the top plate. A contact alert coating is coated on at least an upper portion of the golf tee body. The contact alert coating is composed of a material that generates a spark and, preferably, an audible sound when a golf club head strikes the ball and strikes the contact alert coating of the golf tee at the coating/golf tee interface. Generation of the spark and, preferably, the audible sound provides an alert that immediately informs the user whether the user's golf swing has been properly executed.
Abstract:
The given invention relates to illuminating climb system enabling at least one user to climb at least one entity, wherein the illuminating climb system further enable in providing support system to the at least one user in climbing up the entity. This illuminating climb system provide a safety sheath to at least one use by avoiding accidents due to non visibility of the climbing path.
Abstract:
A golf game assembly includes a plurality of goals. The plurality of goals may be arranged on a support surface. Each of the goals is comprised of a phosphorescent material to be visible at night. A plurality of golf clubs is provided. Each of the golf clubs is comprised of a phosphorescent material to be visible at night. A selected one of the golf clubs is selected by a player. A plurality of balls is provided. A selected one of the balls may be placed on the support surface. Thus, the player may strike the selected ball with the selected golf club. Each of the balls is comprised of a phosphorescent material to be visible at night.
Abstract:
A flexible tubular elastomeric grip for an implement to be manually swung with force and speed, such as a golf club is provided. A flexible tubular member molded of elastomeric material has an open end for receiving the club shaft with a hardness in the range of 38-55 on the Shore “A” scale and has a substantially closed end which has a greater hardness in the range of 65-100 on the Shore “A” scale. The closed end may be integrally molded with the tubular member or as one piece or formed pre-cured and adhesively received in the cavity after molding. An open cavity formed in the closed end has received therein an insert which may be a transducer, RFID tag, tracking device, speed/acceleration sensor or decorative item. In one version, a peripheral rim lip retains and secures the insert in the cavity. In another version, inwardly extending arms are formed integrally with the flexible tubular member to retain and secure the insert. Alternately, the arms may be connect to form a bridge over the cavity to retain and secure the insert.
Abstract:
A pronation supination wrist deviator exercise device includes a handle having a proximal portion and a distal portion; a shaft defining a longitudinal axis extending from a proximal end to a distal end; and a head portion having a predetermined weight. The head portion or the handle are mounted for relative movement on the shaft between a first position and a second position. The head portion and the handle define a first distance. The predetermined weight of the head portion represents a first weight. The first weight multiplied by the first distance represents a first effective torque of the device. When the distance between the head portion and the distal portion of the handle is changed to at least a second distance, the first weight multiplied by the second distance represents at least a second effective torque of the device.
Abstract:
An exercise system is disclosed that includes multiple exercise platforms. These platforms may be stacked or used individually. Each platform in a stack may be successively smaller than the one stacked immediately below it, and exercise challenge may be raised or lowered depending on the level of the stack. The platforms may include features that allow for improved stacking, such as sidewall protrusions that enhance the fit between two stacked platforms, reducing the risk of toppling, slipping, and/or injury. Gripping materials may be used to enhance traction on portions of the platforms, and visual enhancements such as glow in the dark materials, illumination, or other markings may increase the ability of a user to accurately place body parts on the platforms during exercise.
Abstract:
A free weight system for collecting and transmitting exercise related data from a free weight device includes a free weight handle assembly having a gripping portion and a weight receiving portion, one or more weight plates positionable on the weight receiving portions, and a data collecting mechanism at least partially enclosed within an internal cavity of the free weight handle assembly. The data collecting mechanism includes a weight identification mechanism that identifies the weight of the one or more weight plates.
Abstract:
A covering for enhancing, modifying, or altering sporting equipment that includes elastic and/or non-elastic material that defines a shape having an outer surface, an inner surface, and at least one opening that opens to a chamber or passage. The chamber or passage is configured to receive the sporting equipment through the at least one opening. The covering is releasably secured to the sporting equipment to function as, among other things, an identifier, protector, equipment performance enhancer, equipment performance reducer, and the like.
Abstract:
An improved LED illuminated game ball designed to be used in Bocce or Petanque. The game ball includes a solid, opaque spherical body with a threadingly connected illuminated cap assembly that is axially aligned and partially extends into the spherical body. The illuminated cap assembly includes an outer housing, and intermediate member, and a lower inner housing. Mounted on the intermediate member is a PCB with a multi-functional switch and a longitudinally aligned plunger switch. The intermediate member also includes a downward extend bridle with a downward extending LED bulb. Located inside the bridle is a plurality of stacked watch batteries. The outer housing includes top plate with a transversely aligned slot and a plunger bore through which the plunger switch and the closed neck on a sealing washer disposed under the top plate partially extends after assembly. The end of the plunger switch is recessed and enclosed in a watertight seal.
Abstract:
The invention provides a mobile structure that can be used in any water body having a relatively uniform floor and a calm surface (i.e., beach, lake or pool). This structure has multiple hold and leaning surfaces and/or elements that lie flush and below the water level providing people with disabilities and older people a solid support structure to hold, sit, stand or lean while performing adapted swimming activities.
