Abstract:
A compression integument for applying controllable intermittent sequential compression to the limbs of a user comprises an elongated fabric body sized to encircle a limb of a user, one or more compressible pads affixed to a surface of the fabric body facing the limb when the fabric body is wrapped around the limb; one or more tensioning elements integrated into the fabric body or compressible pads and arranged to encircle the limb when the fabric body is wrapped around the limb, and a micro-processor based actuator for selectively actuating the one or more tensioning elements to reduce the effective diameter of the tensioning elements encircling the limb, to thereby apply pressure to the limb by way of the compressible pads.
Abstract:
A garment for wear by a human body having a localized fat accumulation includes an insulative and perspiration impermeable panel sized to conform to the localized fat accumulation. The garment also includes a supportive cover connected to the panel for retaining the panel in contact to the localized fat accumulation during wear, and a boning segment connected to the panel for supporting and shaping the body during wear. The garment may be in the form of a kit further including a wipe containing an absorbed anticellulite agent. The wipe spreads the anticellulite agent on the body where contacted by the panel during wear.
Abstract:
A method for driving moisturising substances and/or cosmetic active ingredients into the skin of the human body has skin brought into contact with the substances and/or active ingredients and a compression element applied thereto. Then, the tissue is subsequently set into oscillation. The compression element may be formed by compression bandages or compression wraps. The tissue may be set into oscillation in that the person locates himself on a vibrating support, or that the muscles of the person are stimulated by way of electro-stimulation.
Abstract:
A pair of exercise pants comprised of pant material which throughout its length and width is non-porous and non-absorbent, said pants having cinching elements for cinching the pant material about the waist and legs of the user in a manner which substantially pneumatically isolates the interior of the pants from outside atmosphere, and said pants further including an evacuation hose connector sealedly secured to the pant material at the rear seat portion thereof whereby when the user exercises, such as by running in place, air can be evacuated from the interior of the pants causing the pant material to press against the user's body to induce midsection sweating thereby promoting overall girth reduction.

Abstract:
An exercise garment for retaining heat around an abdomen, a lower back, and portions of a pelvic area and a buttocks of a person to help lose weight in those areas during a workout includes an upper garment section being positioned over a portion of an upper torso of the person when the upper garment section is worn. A waist constricting band is coupled to a bottom edge of the upper garment section to constrict against the skin and secure the upper garment section in position. A lower garment section is positioned over a lower torso and upper legs of the person and is coupled to the constricting band opposite the upper garment section. An interior panel is coupled to and extends between the upper garment section and the lower garment section. The interior panel extends over the areas to increase heat retention and sweating during the workout.
Abstract:
I. As shown in FIGS. (1) and (6) the thigh supports wrap the thigh for support and isometric resistance. II. As shown in FIGS. (1), (2) and (3) the abdominal support wraps around the abdominal area for support and sweats away water gain and fat while supporting the back. III. FIG. (3) shows the weights Part (10) for the resistance for the thigh and for upper body workout. IV. FIG. (2) as shown in the drawing of the apparatus, detaches for independent usage. V. This device provides more than one source of resistance. VI. FIGS. (2) and (3) shows that the attachable feature allows the device to interchange with each piece for larger size (thighs or abdominal) supports. VII. Wearing the device without the weights will still provide an isometric exercise. VIII. The comparison property of the device improves circulation, reduces or eliminates varicose veins and cellulite from the legs. IX. The versatility of the apparatus enables it to be used under water for water aerobics. X. FIG. (2) Part (2) enables the user to lose inches from the abs without sit ups. XI. Supplies support to the body like a girdle or back brace. XII. Provides width support for the abdominal and thighs. XIII. Nylon straps that suspend the thigh supports from each leg.
Abstract:
A portable sauna system includes a portable sauna enclosure defining an enclosed body receiving interior volume and defining a head opening, two hand openings, and two foot openings. A divide, or entryway, extends from the head opening to a point spaced apart from the bottom end for entering a body into the enclosure. Opposing sides of the divide include a closure device, such as a zipper or buttons, to close the enclosure about a body. A hot air inlet is formed in the portable sauna enclosure and designed to receive a hot air outlet of a hot air supply for communicating hot air from the hot air supply to the body receiving interior volume. A hot air unit has a hot air outlet nozzle attachable to the hot air inlet of the portable sauna enclosure, the hot air unit includes a thermostat control.
