Abstract:
A portable urinal assembly for receiving a scrotum and a penis of an obese person while urinating therein includes a container that has a bottom wall, a top wall and a perimeter wall that is attached to and extends between the top wall and the bottom wall such that a receiving space is formed therein. The receiving space holds urine. The perimeter wall has a front side, a back side, a first lateral side and a second lateral side. The top wall has an opening that extends therethrough. The top wall extends from the front side toward a central area of the top wall. The opening has a perimeter edge that is angled upwardly from the front side to the central area. A conduit is fluidly coupled to container and is in fluid communication with the receiving space. A cap is removably positioned on the conduit to close the conduit.
Abstract:
The embodiments herein discloses a patient friendly bed provided with a toilet facility that enables the patient to use the toilet without assistance and without leaving the bed. A mattress provided in the bed comprises a trap door which separates to allow the patient to perform bodily functions. The bed comprises a cleaning and waste packaging mechanism for packaging solid and liquid waste in a sealed container and for storing the packaged waste for later removal. The bed is operable using a remote control unit. A sensor device is worn around the patient waist and stomach area to sense a need of the patient to perform bodily functions and automatically operate the bed functions.
Abstract:
A bedpan assembly for women in post op, women confined to a bed, and generally for elderly female patients is provided. The bedpan assembly includes a bedpan tray to which a pillow is attached at a proximal end of the bedpan tray. The bedpan tray provides a funnel at its distal end that is connected to a collection bottle for urine collection. The bedpan is constructed and arranged to allow for urine flow into the bedpan tray and proceed into the collection bottle between the legs of a patient. The bedpan assembly offers greater dignity and comfort to the patient, and greater convenience and time savings for medical personnel.
Abstract:
A bedpan assembly includes a bedpan that may be placed on a bed. Thus, a bedridden user may urinate and defecate into the bedpan. A cushion is coupled to the bedpan and the cushion enhances comfort of the bedridden user. A valve is coupled to the bedpan to receive the bedridden user's urine. The valve is selectively positioned between an open position and a closed position. Thus, the valve inhibits the urine from back splashing onto the bedridden user.

Abstract:
A bedpan system including an anatomically configured assembly, an inner liner, and at least one sensor positioned within said liner to actuate at least one device.
Abstract:
A pouch (10) comprises a flexible bag (12) having an opening (12a) at one end, and a safety valve arranged inside the bag (12) to substantially prevent the content of the bag (12) leaving through the opening (12a). The valve comprises a first pair of sheets (22) and a second pair of sheets (24) that are bonded together locally at a plurality of spaced-apart primary bonding points (25), and a third pair of sheets (26), the first, second, and third pairs of sheets (22, 24, and 26) being bonded together locally at a plurality of spaced-apart secondary bonding points (27). The distance between the primary bonding points (25) and the distal end of the sheets of the second pair of sheets (24) varies along a transverse axis (Dt) of the bag (12).
Abstract:
A central integrated nursing machine includes a main unit and a plurality of working heads, wherein the main unit is provided with a sewage suction device, a water supply device, a main unit processor and a main unit communication module, the sewage suction device is provided with a sewage discharging pipe connected with a sewer, the water supply device is provided with a water taking pipe connected with a tap water source, and the main unit processor is connected with the sewage suction device, the water supply device and the main unit communication module through circuits, respectively; and a plurality of working heads are connected with the sewage suction device and the water supply device on the main unit through pipelines, respectively, and the plurality of working heads are connected with the main unit communication module on the main unit through data transmission interfaces, respectively.
Abstract:
A mattress with a rotating and waste elimination system comprises a mattress with a recessed area for receiving a rotation and waste elimination system. The rotation and waste elimination system comprises a (i) frame with a rectangular base and two side walls, forming a “U” shape; (ii) platform (with a central cut out for a waste elimination bag) suspended over the base by two pairs of sliding posts; (iii) optional four chains attached to the platform and side walls; and (iv) programmable electronic gear to operate the sliding posts to simultaneously raise one end and lower the opposite end of the platform to gently turn the patient. Alternately, the gear operates a cable/pulley system (involving two independent systems positioned outside the frame) by attaching one cable end to the midpoint of the platform's shorter side and the other cable end to the gear to rotate and counter-rotate the platform.
Abstract:
An apparatus for automatically treating the excrement comprises a mounting unit, a control device unit, and a washing water supply path which is connected from the washing water supply part to the mounting unit. The washing water supply part comprises a washing water storage tank in which the washing water is stored. A pump is operated in a forward or in a reverse direction to supply the washing water of the washing water storage tank to the mounting unit, or collecting the residual washing water in the washing water supply path to the washing water storage tank. An instantaneous water heater provides on the washing water supply path to heat the washing water a control portion which controls the operations of the pump in the forward direction or the reverse direction.
