摘要： A crime-scene body bag is made with a flexible material forming an enclosure defining an interior chamber sufficient to accommodate the remains of a deceased person. The bag is opened and closed with a zippering mechanism. A platform is embedded into the flexible material containing a variety of components including an electronic data storage unit; a fingerprint scanner, a digital voice recorder, a camera, a nozzle for insertion of a cover gas and for release of gases within the enclosure, a global positioning system monitor, a display screen, and a radio-frequency identification tag. Optional components include a pressurized gas capsule, an odor absorbing compound, an anti-bacterial agent, a sensor recording when the zipper is opened and the location, a bio-medical scanner, a radiation dosimeter, a locking mechanism, an end-lift handle, a central lifting strap, a zippered pouch, and a vacuum attachment.

摘要： An isolation apparatus for transporting and storing objects or human remains. The apparatus is formed of a flexible, foldable, opaque, generally box-like enclosure fabricated of a fiber reinforced plastic film, and welded together to form a sealed, air-tight and/or liquid-tight enclosure. A gas and liquid sealing zipper is positioned along three of four sides of the enclosure, thereby allowing the apparatus to open in a clamshell or suitcase-like manner, for easy access to the interior of the enclosure. An NBC and/or a CBRN filter can be mounted to the apparatus to allow for release of pressure from within the enclosure. An interior liner made of chemical protective fabric can be placed within the enclosure for additional chemical containment. This apparatus eliminates or significantly reduces the size and number of cracks, crevices and/or other voids into which contaminated materials can enter, for example by positioning, sizing and/or structuring welds to extend completely to an edge of the isolation apparatus, and/or by welding materials together entirely around one or more peripheries.

An upper outer layer (101) and a lower outer layer (102), each of which can be non-woven materials, form the outer surfaces of the body bag (900). An absorbent layer (103) is disposed between the upper outer layer (101) and the lower outer layer (102). One or more edges (303,403,503,603) can be folded into a periphery (332) of the body bag (900). Stitching (802) can then be applied along the periphery (332) such that the stitching (802) passes through the upper outer layer (101), the lower outer layer (102), an upper edge (994) of the fold in the absorbent layer (103), and a complementary bottom edge (995) of the fold in the absorbent layer (103). Handles (1001,1002,1003,1004) can be included as well.

摘要： A body bag for water retrieval of human remains is provided. The body bag is lightweight and disposable. The body bag is made of a material having a hole ratio per unit weight of material in a particular range that permits rapid water drainage yet provides sufficient strength and integrity to the body bag, and reduces cross-contamination. The body bag can have a skid pad on an exterior surface as an aid to lifting the body bag out of the water and over the gunwale or sides of a recovery vehicle. The body bag also can have large handles for ease of gripping and to attach buoyancy devices. The body bag further can have a snag line around its periphery.

The selectively breakable package includes a chemical, such as ammonium nitrate, which when mixed with water will cause an endothermic reaction. In use, the package is broken in order to cause the water to cool. The cooled water absorbs heat from an injured person placed on the device, thereby minimizing inflammation that may occur from injuries sustained by the person.

摘要： A bag device for storing a body includes upper and lower impervious flexible panel members each having opposed side edges and opposed ends. Respectively side edges of the members are formed integrally therealong, and the members are movable to form a cavity for storing the body. The end is closed and the end is normally open so that can be inserted into the cavity. The members are laminates of thermoplastic sheets and the open end can be sealed by application of heat to the thermoplastic sheets at the open end. Pressure release valves are fixed to the member so that excess pressure in the cavity due to body decomposition is released to the atmosphere.
