摘要: An image source of an optical ophthalmic apparatus provides a picture and directs light of the picture toward an imaging arrangement of the optical ophthalmic apparatus. The imaging arrangement receives light of the picture and forms, together with refraction of an eye, an image of the picture on a first image plane, and the imaging arrangement locates the first image plane at a known location. The imaging arrangement receives light from a retina of the eye and directs light from the retina to an image detector of the optical ophthalmic apparatus, and the imaging arrangement forms, together with refraction of the eye, an image of the retina on a second image plane. The imaging arrangement forms optical conjugates of the first and second image planes for focusing the image of the retina accurately on an image sensor of the image detector if the image of the picture is simultaneously accurately focused on the retina of the eye, and the optical ophthalmic apparatus stimulates the eye to accommodate in order to focus the image of the picture accurately on the retina if the image of the picture is out-of-focus on the retina.

摘要: A virtual reality instrument measures the refraction and aberrations of the eye in an automatic way, and includes a portable part which is a virtual reality headset foreseen of a detailed screen per eye and at least one background screen, both virtual. The detailed screen has a resolution multiple times the foveal resolution of the eye and the background screen has the resolution similar to the peripheral resolution of the eye. The virtual reality instrument also includes at least one pupil camera, a system to manipulate the phase of the light coming from the detailed screen, a wavefront sensor and light source to measure the wavefront using a wavelength of at least 400 nm.

摘要: An ophthalmologic apparatus is provided, which is capable of more securely supporting left and right cheekbone portions of a subject in accordance with the size and shape of the subject's face allowing the subject to respond orally where the positions of the subject's eyes are fixed. The ophthalmologic apparatus includes a forehead contact portion coming into contact with the forehead of the subject, and a cheek contact portion coming into contact with the cheeks of the subject. The cheek contact portion includes a first cheek-contact body that supports one of the cheeks of the subject, a second cheek-contact body that supports the other one of the cheeks of the subject, and an opening/closing mechanism portion that opens and closes in a horizontal direction the first cheek-contact body and the second cheek-contact body in a direction of coming close to each other and a direction of separating from each other.

摘要: A system includes: at least one processor; a movable stage, wherein the movable stage is movable under control of the at least one processor with respect to an eye of a subject; a video display device configured to move with the movable stage; and an optical system disposed in an optical path between the video display device and the eye. The video display device is configured to play a movie of a fixation target to the eye to cause the eye to accommodate, and the movie dynamically changes an appearance of the fixation target on the video display device to compensate for Bokeh of the fixation target as the movable stage moves the video display device from a first position, where the fixation target draws a focus of the eye to near its far point, to a second position further away from the eye than the first position.

摘要: In an ophthalmic imaging system an image imaged by an imaging section for a right eye is formed as an imaging image on a display, and then displayed through a right-eye optical unit and a reflection member. An image imaged by an imaging section for a left eye is formed as an imaging image on a display, and then displayed through an optical unit and the reflection member. This thereby enables the object to be visually inspected as a three-dimensional image by the observer viewing the right-eye imaging image and the left-eye imaging image, which differ from each other according to the parallax therebetween, by viewing the respective images through right and left eyes.

摘要: A lens element intended to be worn in front of an eye of a wearer including at least a first and a second set of optical elements providing respectively a first and a second optical function. When worn by a wearer, an optical element of the first set is located at a greater distance from the center of rotation of the eye than an optical element of the second set. At least some optical elements of the second set are disposed with respect to the optical elements of the first set of the lens element to provide according to a respective first and a second gaze direction on different zones of the retina of the eye of the wearer distinct cumulative optical effects.
