The water supply apparatus is communicated with the heating apparatus, the water supply apparatus is configured to supply water to the heating apparatus, and the water outlet pipe is communicated with the heating apparatus and the flow dividing structure. The flow dividing structure includes a first branch. The water outlet pipe is communicated with the water supply apparatus via the first branch, such that the water supply apparatus, the water inlet pipe, the heating apparatus, the water outlet pipe and the first branch are communicated and form a cyclic pipeline provided with a one-way valve apparatus or a water pump.
Abstract:
A drip filter coffee making device has a filter basket with a lid. The lid supports a water dispenser for wetting grounds in the filter basket. The basket is removable from a body of the device. The lid may have a dampened opening motion, biased into an open positon by a spring.
Abstract:
A coffee machine includes a pot liner and a heating mechanism for heating the pot liner. The pot liner has a water inlet and a water outlet. An automatic drain mechanism is provided at the water outlet of the pot liner for opening or blocking the water outlet according to the ambient temperature at the water outlet. The automatic drain mechanism can be used to control outflow of the heated water from the pot liner according to the ambient temperature, so that the structure for exhausting water is simplified and the size of the coffee machine is reduced. Moreover, the fluid flowing out under the pressure generated due to steam will facilitate to brew ground coffee, thereby enhancing the quality of coffee.
Abstract:
A coffee and water dispenser, used to provide both drinking water and coffee is disclosed. The coffee and water dispenser has a water dispenser and a brewer attached to the water dispenser. The water dispenser has a main body that has a water dispensing region and a receiving space. The brewer is installed in the receiving space and connected to a hot water dispensing path of the water dispenser.
Abstract:
The container which can be inserted into a power-supply unit (17, 18) and is intended for the preparation of hot drinks, with a liquid-storage container (4), an electric heating element (7) arranged therein and a collecting container (1) for the drink prepared, the liquid-storage container (4) having a closure (9, 10) which is arranged in the bottom (8) of the liquid-storage container (4) and opens in a manner not automatically reversible at a predetermined internal pressure of the container, due to the arching outwards of the bottom (8), which is provided with contacts (6) for the supply of electrical power and which can be inserted or is inserted into the collecting container (1) in such a way that, in the operating position, the collecting space is essentially below the storage container (4), and the power supply to the heating element (7) being designed in such a way that it is interrupted when the closure (9, 10) is opened, is distinguished by the fact that the closure (9, 10) is formed by an annular projection (9) surrounding an opening of the bottom (8) and by a spike (10) secured in the interior of the liquid-storage container (4), and in that seals (12) are arranged on the projection (9) and/or spike (10).
Abstract:
An appliance for preparing freshly brewed iced tea with microwave energy comprising a generally funnel-shaped reservoir of molded plastic construction having an open upper end, closed lower end and an aperture near the closed lower end. The reservoir is dimensioned to hold a predetermined amount of water and tea simultaneously. A valve arrangement controls the flow of liquid from the reservoir through the aperture and to move from a closed position to an open position after water in the reservoir has been heated by microwave energy to a predetermined temperature. A receptacle is dimensioned to hold the hot, brewed tea from the reservoir and a predetermined amount of ice, and includes a barrier to shield ice therein from microwave energy.
Abstract:
A magnetic valve which is closed when current is absent includes an electromagnet driver having a U-shaped magnetizable yoke carrying a winding; a pivotally attached armature including a soft magnetic material; a permanent magnet disposed on the armature; and a pole plate disposed between the permanent magnet and a part of the yoke which carries the winding. The yoke part and the pole plate define a separating plane therebetween. The mangetic valve further has a valve cone disposed on the armature below the separating plane.
Abstract:
An electric automatic water heating apparatus for drip type beverage, e.g., coffee makers has a housing provided with a reservoir composed of a material of low thermal conductivity arranged to supply water by gravity to a sealed heating chamber having an inlet communicating with the reservoir and an outlet for discharging heated water for use. The sealed heating chamber includes an open top, cup-shaped, metallic casting having an electric rod-type resistance heating element embedded therein, and a metallic cover member closing the open top of the casting for confining steam generated during heating to the heating chamber. The cover is secured to and forms a bottom surface portion of the reservoir exposed to the water in therein. The cover serves as a support for a bimetallic member which controls the flow of water through the inlet into the heating chamber in response to the temperature in the heating chamber. Seals are provided between the heating chamber and housing for blocking flow of steam or water from the heating chamber into the housing area containing electrical components.
Abstract:
The electrical water heater and dispenser is designed to heat a small amount of water such as two or three cups of water for use in making hot coffee, hot tea, cocoa, etc. A manually operable valve is provided for dispensing water into at least one receiver adapted to be temporarily positioned therebelow. A heat sink is fixedly secured to substantially the entire body surface of the water tank having a discharge port in its bottom wall. Heater coils are fixedly secured to the heat sink and circumscribe the discharge port.
Abstract:
A compact appliance for rapidly heating small quantities of water and dispensing the heated water into a cup or vessel. The appliance includes a stainless steel reservoir having a heating element brazed to the bottom thereof and a thermostat which extends through the bottom wall of the reservoir to sense the temperature of the liquid contained therein. The thermostat is a manually resettable thermostat which is operable by means of a lever extending through the front wall of the appliance in close proximity to a second lever which operates a valve to dispense the heated liquid into a vessel. The cover for the reservoir is provided with means to return the condensed water vapor to the reservoir rather than permitting it to run into the interior of the housing.
