    Abstract: An adjustable pole caddy includes an elongated pole, a shelf including a generally planar surface for supporting at least one object thereon, a clamp having a first aperture and a second aperture, and a fastener extending through the first aperture of the clamp. The second aperture extends around at least a portion of an outer periphery of the pole. In a locked position of the fastener and clamp, an end portion of the fastener engages the pole and at least a portion of the shelf removably engages at least a portion of the clamp. The clamp is secured to the pole and the shelf is secured to the clamp. In a released position of the fastener and clamp, the end portion of the fastener does not engage the pole.

    Abstract: A modular shelf assembly has a vertical support having a channel in one face thereof and an adjustable bracket having a rear portion cooperatively configured and slidable in the channel. The bracket includes top and lower clamps each having a body portion with opposed clamping surfaces and depending leg portions. The leg portions are slidable relative to each other, and an adjusting screw is engaged with the upper clamp to effect relative movement between the clamping surfaces to clamp a shelf between the clamping surfaces. The bracket also has a positioning fastener seated in the lower clamp below the shelf and extending through the clamps to engage the support to secure the clamps to each other and to the support.

    Abstract: A bracket for attachment to a railing spindle includes an elongate socket body composed of resilient, elastomeric material and having a forward sidewall, lateral opposed sidewalls, and rearward sidewall portions defining an elongate chamber therebetween. An elongate access channel is defined between the rearward sidewall portions having a width nominally less than the width of a railing spindle. Outward biasing force is exerted upon the lateral sidewalls of the socket body and acts to widen the access channel and allow passage of the railing spindle in the socket body chamber. Release of the biasing force allows the lateral sidewalls and the rearward sidewalls to resume an original relationship and narrow the access channel. A method of effecting a mounting of the bracket to a railing spindle includes the steps of: positioning the socket body of the bracket at an acute angle adjacent the railing spindle with a lower end of the socket body close to the railing spindle; registering the railing spindle into the open lower portion of the socket body chamber; rotating an upper end of the socket body about the lower end toward the railing spindle; applying a directional biasing force to the lateral sidewalls that moves the rearward sidewall portions outward and widens the access channel therebetween; passing the railing spindle through the widened access channel and into the socket body chamber; and removing the applied biasing force, releasing the lateral and rearward sidewall portions to resume an original position and narrow the access channel.

    Abstract: A unique component furniture assembly for securing furniture components in wall furniture systems comprises a light-weight metal track, along which glides a novel fastening assembly which receives screws, threaded support posts and the like and to which a given furniture component is secured. The fastening assembly includes a block, preferably a plastic nut, carried by a basket. The block is suspended within the basket by a coil spring or other bias means. Relative expansion of the block and the basket by action of the spring causing contact with inner surfaces of the track causing the fastening assembly to remain stationary, though moveable on the track. The present furniture assembly further includes a plurality of selectively spaced detents, preferably raised protuberances, on the inside bottom surface of the track which function to lock the fastening assembly to the track and are used to align fastening assemblies on adjacent and opposing tracks.
