摘要： The present disclosure provides various examples of a universal mounting bracket for mounting a floating shelf to a flat vertical surface such as a wall. The bracket assembly allows for installing the bracket with a single selected fastener. This is more efficient and allows for the bracket to be installed in the widest variety of vertical assemblies with the most strength possible. The bracket can be installed into a stud wall, hollow drywall space, solid masonry wall, a hollow masonry wall unit, a brick wall, a cinderblock wall, a reinforced masonry wall, a plaster wall, a steel wall assembly or support structure, and any other vertical assembly so long as there is a satisfactory fastener for that assembly. Alternatively, the universal mounting bracket provides a mechanism that facilitates its use as a hook for a multitude of purposes.

摘要： A modular shelving system with a series of shelves, shelf-support brackets, bracket attachment disks, and hinge-pins. The support brackets are hingable. The support disks each include a series of radially disposed apertures and additional apertures for allowing the disk to be fastened to a wall or stud. The shelf support brackets include shelf-receiving slots and a post extending from the bracket that can be inserted into one of the radially disposed apertures. The hinge-pin is threaded to be screwed into the bracket-receiving disks. The shelves are inserted into the shelf-receiving slots in the shelf-support brackets to create a custom climbing shelf design for climbing animals such as cats.

In the storage orientation, the tray is substantially parallel to the wall and, in the operational orientation, the tray is at an angle with respect to the wall. A locking assembly selectively fixes the tray in the operational orientation and the storage orientation.

摘要： An embodiment of a floating shelf and mounting bracket provides two parts, a hollow metal shelf and a bracket. The metal shelf includes five enclosed sides. The metal shelf back side that mounts to a planar surface is partially open creating an integral mounting tab surface that allows the metal shelf to simply be lowered onto an offset upward bend of the mounting bracket that is attached to the planar surface, providing a quick and secure mounting method of the shelf without any visible brackets or hardware. An alternate embodiment includes notched openings in the metal shelf back side sized to receive and engage spacer posts on the mounting bracket upward bend for further lateral shelf stability.

摘要： The invention is a mantel or shelf made of a solid block of reclaimed wood with a hidden mounting assembly. The mantel has sufficient thickness, depth and length to accommodate an elongated L-shaped sheet metal bracket with planar horizontal and vertical flanges to allow selective lateral positioning of the mantel relative to its securement to spaced vertical wall studs. An L-shaped opening in the rear of the mantel is formed by a deep horizontal slot and a shallow vertical recess extending down from the slot. The slot is parallel to and near the top of the mantel, and receives the horizontal flange. The recess receives the vertical flange so the mantel is flush with the wall. A mounting fastener inserted into the mantel pierces the horizontal flange to capture the bracket and secure the mantel to the wall. The bracket, slot and recess are hidden from view during use.

A hook at a first end of the main body engages a wall of a slot in the slotted member, while a tab at a second end of the main body member is offset rearwardly from the body member by an arm, the arm and tab being spaced from the hook a distance such that the arm extends through another slot of the slotted member. At least one of the hook and arm are position to engage an edge of the slot of the slotted member to position the bracket on the member. A portion of the tab lies behind a further slot when the bracket is installed on the slotted member, and has a threaded bore to accept a mounting bolt inserted from the front side of the slotted member to fix the mounting bracket in place on the slotted member.
