Abstract: Provided is a leg spike for a tripod apparatus. The leg spike can retract in and out of a a leg of a tripod. In one example, the leg spike includes an inner hollow tube section with the leg spike therein which is attached to a sliding pin that enables the leg spike to retract in and out of the inner hollow tube section, and an outer hollow tube section that fits over the inner hollow tube section and includes a turning mechanism which allows the sliding pin to move up or down with respect to the outer hollow tube section causing the retractable leg spike to move in and out of the inner hollow tube section when a turning force is applied, and prevents the inner hollow tube section from moving up and down with respect to the outer hollow tube section when the turning force is applied.

Abstract: A portable beach pole consists of a pole and a support base. The support base can be separated from the pole, and the pole itself can be separated into two or more pole pieces along its length, so that the support base and pole pieces can be easily transported from home to car to beach, in a bag. One or more of the pole pieces includes integral hooks from which wet beach towels, clothing and other items such as toys, food/beverage bags and beach bags may be hung. The pole pieces and support base can be quickly assembled into the beach pole, whereby the beach pole can be just as quickly disassembled. The support base provides a sturdy and secure structure for maintaining the beach pole vertical and in place.

Abstract: A lawn stake holder for holding multiple backyard items including drink glasses, cans, wine glasses, corn hole bags, and horseshoes. The lawn stake holder generally comprises a unitary holder formed by bending a metal rod into a U-shaped yoke at the center, and bending a substantially-rectangular platform on one side of the U-shaped yoke, leaving a horizontal strut on the other side of the U-shaped yoke. The unitary holder is supported by a unitary lawn stake component formed from a single elongate rod with a pointed lower tip at one end for insertion into the ground, and a circular metal eye at the other end bent around the U-shaped yoke of the holder component. The holder component may be welded to the lawn stake component to secure it in place.

Abstract: A portable staked accessory holder is an apparatus that mounted into the ground to uphold various small items. The apparatus includes a tray, a telescopic post assembly, and a stake. The tray upholds small items such as a beverage cup or a small plate. The telescopic post assembly offsets the tray from the ground and is height adjustable. The stake drives into and mounts into the ground. The apparatus further includes a beverage holder, an electronic device holder, and a spring clamp. The beverage holder attaches a beverage with the telescopic post assembly so that the tray remains uninhibited and the space of the tray is maximized. The electronic device holder upholds an electronic device such as a smart phone with the beverage holder for easy access. The spring clamp allows the beverage holder, and consequently the electronic device holder to be attached and removed with the telescopic post assembly.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for sheltering electrical cord connections are provided. The apparatus is designed to protect electrical connections formed between electrical cords from precipitation by sheltering and elevating the electrical connection above a ground surface.
