Abstract: An apparatus and method for sheltering electrical cord connections are provided. The apparatus is designed to protect electrical connections formed between electrical cords from precipitation by sheltering and elevating the electrical connection above a ground surface. The apparatus has an elongated support member having a first end to which a shelter is secured and a second end that secures the apparatus to a ground surface. A securing member disposed between the first end and second end of the support member is designed to support an electrical cord and electrical connections formed thereby above a ground surface. The shelter shields any electrical cord and connection held above the ground surface by the securing member from falling precipitation such as rain or snow.
