Abstract: Various systems and methods relate to an adaptive chair system having (i) a stowed mode in which the members of the chair frame are contained within a compact flexible multi-function bag (MFB), and (ii) a deployed mode in which the MFB is adapted to releasably couple to an arm of the chair to provide a multipurpose accessory chamber. In an illustrative example, the MFB may, for example, fold in on itself in an accessory mode. The MFB may provide various utilities for hikers, for example, by providing a case to receive an inflatable bladder so as to form a pillow. The MFB may receive a thermal liner adapted to maintain, for example, food or beverage temperature. Various embodiments may advantageously provide a rugged, water resistant MFB system in an ultralight form factor that serves as a multipurpose accessory (e.g., to store items), yet provides a compact, adaptive chair frame containment.

Abstract: A dual charging cable lanyard for use with a mobile phone includes a first cable and a second cable each having a data or charging connector at first ends, respectively. The lanyard includes a connector bride having receiving ports at opposite ends for receiving the data or charging connectors of the pair of cables so as to form a neck strap. The lanyard includes a cell phone holding member. Opposing ends of the first and second cables are received into a single signal port and is selectively received into the cell phone holding member for connection to a cell phone. The lanyard includes a dual action safety assembly intermediate the signal port and holding member for preventing inadvertent release of the cell phone holder from the cables.

Abstract: The present invention provides an item of luggage (1) having a receptacle (2) to receive items to be transported, a support (14) for the receptacle, a pair of wheels (5, 6) connected to the support (9) and a handle (3) connected to the support (14), with the support (9), receptacle (2), wheels (5, 6) and handle (3) being arranged such that the handle (3) may be used to push or pull the receptacle (2) along on the pair of wheels (5, 6) in the manner of a conventional flight bag. The (footplate 11) is pivotable between a folded position where it lies substantially adjacent the receptacle (2) and an extended position where the footplate (11) extends away from the receptacle (2), wherein, when the footplate (11) is in an extended position, the said pair of wheels (5, 6), the footplate (11) and the handle (3) form a scooter, The invention may, for example, be applied to a piece of carry-on luggage for an aircraft and may thus encourage a child to transport the item through the airport and make the experience more fun for that child.

Abstract: Improvements in a sling carrier for skis, snowboard and boots to be able to carry the skies and or snowboard across the back of the wearer is disclosed. The ability to sling the equipment over the back of a user allows the user to have full mobility walk. A user can tighten the sling to adjust the location of the equipment in their back. Having the equipment supported on their back allows the user to walk in a more balanced stance and the user just needs to bend forward or backward to accommodate the load or the terrain. The carrier uses pockets for the equipment and for transportation of the carrier equipment. This also leave the hand of the user free while transporting equipment. The carrier uses Buckles that allow the user to just “squeeze” elements together to release the straps.

Abstract: A convertible sport wrap garment is disclosed that may convert to a purse/pack and vice versa. The garment may be formed of a composite fabric structure having an inner sheet and an outer sheet attached together to form a generally tubular shaped body. The garment may comprise an elastic fabric such that it fits snugly around the torso of the wearer. The garment may be worn around the waist and over one shoulder or both shoulders. A selectively closable pocket may be sandwiched between the inner and outer sheets, wherein the pocket may be accessible along one edge joining the inner and outer sheets, and wherein the garment may be folded into the pocket to convert the garment into a purse/pack.
