A keying feature may be provided so as to prevent misalignment between the plate and a device to which it can be magnetically connected.

The wallet includes an auxiliary feature removably attached within the interior at least one of the at least two rigid plates interposed using a tang inserted into a recess formed inside the plate, the tang having a hook, the hook extending at an angle to the tang, the hook engaging an undercut of the recess to prevent inadvertent dislodgement of the auxiliary feature from the recess.

摘要： A card holder that includes a body defining an inner cavity with a front opening and at least one back opening. The inner cavity is limited by an upper plate, a lower plate, and two side walls. The upper plate bifurcates towards the back opening into first and second subplates that are separated from one another along the two side walls by a gap shaped as a pocket which houses ends of the multiple slidable card actuators of the holder. Long arms of the actuators are rested on the upper surface of the second subplate, while short arms are disposed below the second subplate. The body is preferably monolithic, and in one case at least one support element may be permanently affixed to the second subplate and/or the lower plate. When such support element(s) is affixed to both, the misalignment of the elements of the body and/or breakage thereof is substantially eliminated.

摘要： A mechanical wallet or cardholder can be opened using one hand by sliding a top or second plate along rails parallel to a bottom or first plate. A card arm forces cards in the cardholder (i.e., located between the first and second plates) out a second end of the cardholder in a fanned or stepped fashion. A magnet in the card arm and in a first end of the frame (opposite the second end of the cardholder and frame) cooperate to return and retain the card arm and first plate in the closed position. A card lock at the second end of the frame retains cards in the cardholder when the cardholder is in the closed position and allows the cards to be pushed from the second end of the cardholder by the card arm when the second plate is moved to the open position.

摘要： A card management system is used to store one or more cards in a secure and flexible manner, allowing for selective extraction and retention of one or more cards from the card management system. The card management system comprises a housing containing a stack of cards, such as credit cards and the like with at least one card opening for locating and removing cards by rotating a spring-loaded thumb wheel. When rotational pressure is applied, the thumb wheel rotates translating the rotational movement into linear movement, thereby causing a card carrier to partially extend one or more cards through a card opening in the housing. With the cards now being partially exposed, one or more cards can be selected for use. When the pressure on the thumb wheel is released, the card carrier moves the card carrier retracts back into the housing by the spring tension.

In some instances the wallet includes interior dividers that have extended edges that extend past the length of the front and back of the wallet. These dividers with extended edges may also have a notch feature. These and other features of the wallet assist in inserting and removing the one or more items from the wallet.
