    摘要： A colorful fastener tape for a slide fastener chain and a fastener stringer comprising such a fastener tape have an ornamental portion arranged along an inner longitudinal edge of the fastener tape and formed by multicolored yarns. A multicolored cord or a number of multicolored yarns are woven or knitted into the fastener tape 1 along the inner longitudinal edge to produce a thickened reinforced section, thus producing an ornamental portion such as of rainbow colored. Fastener elements of various types may be fitted to the reinforced section of the fastener tape of the a fastener stringer, thus the fastener stringer has a beautiful ornamental portion. When multicolored yarns are used for several warps or warp knitting yarns located adjacent to the reinforced section, a broadened ornamental portion can be produced to enhance the color effect of the fastener stringer that may be used for a dress to improve its color effect.

    摘要： A row of fastener elements for a slide fastener comprises a continuous spiral-shaped thread having a varying pitch, each whorl of the spiral thread having two legs which are substantially superimposed, and each whorl being separated from each other whorl, each whorl having at a first end portion thereof a deformation to serve as a tooth of a fastener element. In such a construction, the connecting sections between the successive whorls, opposite the teeth, each have a respective bend facing towards the teeth and the totality of said bends forms a series of notches along the corresponding longitudinal edge of the row of fastener elements. When the row of fastener elements is secured by stitching onto a backing tape, the stitching consists of two parallel longitudinal rows, one of said rows being at an intermediate point in the space between the teeth and the connecting sections, preferably close to the connecting sections, and the other being along the edge of the row of fastener elements opposite to the teeth and disposed inside the notches. Advantageously, the stitching is double chain-stitch made with two needles, the chains being positioned over the end of the whorls opposite to the teeth.

As a consequence, it is possible to obtain a knitted/woven concealed type slide fastener in which fastener elements are attached strongly in a stable manner, and even if a strong lateral force is applied to the slide fastener during usage, a coupling portion of a fastener element row is difficult to be seen from outside, the knitted/woven concealed type slide fastener being thin and plastic.

    摘要： In a Y bar for forming coupling elements, an opening angle of a pair of right and left leg parts is narrower than that of the ordinary ones. Plural bent portions, which are bent inward, are formed successively in an extending direction of the leg parts in a range from a crotch part toward pawl parts at front ends of the leg parts. The gap between the pawl parts are narrowed gradually from proximal ends to front ends thereof. Bulging portions are provided on outer side surfaces of the crotch part. Thus, the stabilization of the posture of a metallic coupling element, which is obtained by cutting the Y bar, at the time of mounting, strength of the coupling element and stabilization of the mounting posture of the coupling element to the fastener tape can be improved.
