Embodiments of the sewing system have a single- or multi-strand thread of one to ten woven threads, the threads having a length of at least one inch with one needle pre-attached, terminating in free strands, an opposing end securement, or two needles attached to opposing ends of the thread. The appearance of a professionally sewn button is provided while eliminating the need to make multiple passes through the button holes and fabric.

The needle is used to route and secure the band through a fabric garment and through aperture portions of a button. The band is then secured to the backing clip to hold the button against the fabric. 摘要： A button fastener of plastic material, which can be quickly, attach onto clothing and material. The button fastener has a pointed, ribbed and/or toothed, free-end strap leading downward from the underside of the fastener. The point of the strap is inserted into and drawn through pants, clothing or material and the strap is then inserted through an opening in bottom of the fastener leading to a passageway through the fastener. Situated above the opening in the fastener is a flap, which is folded in onto the body of the fastener. The flap has full detail art icons and emblems molded into the outward side of the flap. An angled lip on the inside of the flap is bent out of position and is inserted into an underside indent in the fastener, locking the flap onto the fastener body and securing the position of the strap within the passageway. An alternative embodiment of a button fastener is designed with a pointed, ribbed strap that is inserted through a passageway within the shank of a button fastener. The shank contains a locking cache within the passageway that is sized to the ribbed strap and prevents the withdrawal of an inserted ribbed strap from. The shank button fastener can have art icons molded onto the face of the button from a side molding technique.

Preferably, the stretched flexible filamentary material is made of a plastic, such as propylene, nylon, urethane and combinations thereof.

摘要： A fastener attaching tool particularly suited for use in attaching buttons to clothing, etc. and which is constructed for use with a fastener clip which includes a pair of runner bars and one or more U-shaped fasteners having transverse bars at opposite ends, each transverse bar being connected on its side to a corresponding runner bar by a severable connector post. The tool includes a body having a front end. A pair of needles are pivotally mounted at the front end of the body, each needle having a longitudinal slotted bore adapted to receive one of the transverse bars and a knife edge formed on one side which is adapted to sever a connector post from its associated transverse bar as the transverse bar is pushed through the needle. The body is shaped to include a transverse feed slot down through which the fastener clip is manually inserted. The tool also includes an ejector mechanism which is slidably mounted back and forth within the body and is rearwardly biased by a spring. The ejector mechanism is moved manually forward from the rear of the tool and includes a pair of ejector rods which are used to push the transverse bars into and through the bores in the needles. The body includes a pair of flexible fingers which cooperate with a pair of posts on the ejector mechanism to prevent automatic return of the ejector mechanism from its forwardmost position in the body to its rearwardmost position when forward pressure on the ejector mechanism is removed.

摘要： A fastener for flexible sheet material, such as cloth, plastic sheeting, tarpaulins, and the like is disclosed. The fastener consists of an elongate cord member having enlarged or bulbous portions provided at spaced distances therealong, with one end of the cord having a flattened tab portion and an aperture thereon to receive the other end of the cord member which passes therethrough to form a loop portion. The said other end of the cord is then attached to a button member. In use, the button is positioned on one side of a sheet of material and the loop portion passed over the button from the other side of the sheet carrying a portion of the sheet material therewith. The tab is then moved along the cord to close the loop to a diameter smaller than the button and securely hold the fastener to the sheet material. The aperture in the tab portion is provided with a contiguous slot opening in which the cord is fitted after the loop is tightened. The slot is of a width to receive the cord but the width is less than the diameter of the enlarged portions to prevent longitudinal movement of the cord with respect to the slot. The fastener may be used with any flexible sheet material and is re-usable any number of times without damage to the sheet material.
