摘要： A tool for removing leaf lard from an animal carcass includes a mandrel to wind a leaf lard. The mandrel includes a suction cavity with a round opening to engage with a part of the leaf lard. A first air device is located inside the mandrel for aspirating and blowing air into and away from the suction cavity. The mandrel can comprise at least one pushing device to loosen and push away a leaf lard wound around the mandrel, and at least one pushing element located inside and/or in front of the pushing device to be directed underneath a leaf lard. The tool may be used in a method for loosening or removing leaf lard from an animal carcass. The tool may be part of a system for automatic loosening or removing leaf lard from an animal carcass, the system may comprise robot arms, identification system and controlling system.

The device further comprises weighing means for weighing slaughter products that are present within the weighing section and reducing means for reducing tensile stress in the conveying element insofar as it extends in the weighing section, said reducing means comprising transmission means that are operative between the two pulley means. The transmission means comprise a gear transmission with at least two meshing gears which are rotatable about respective second vertical axes of rotation, wherein the second axis of rotation of one of the at least two gears is in line with a first vertical axis of rotation, and wherein the second axis of rotation of another of the at least two gears is in line with the other first vertical axis of rotation.

When in the deployed position, it is contemplated that the lateral section of the hook extension arm will extend beyond the edge of the vehicle on which it is mounted such that a fish or other game can be hung from the hook member.

A rigging cable extends from the winch drum and is threaded through an eyelet disposed at the top apex of the gambrel frame. The rigging cable may be secured to an existing structure and the winch is operated to hoist and suspend the gambrel frame from the structure. Further, the gambrel device may be utilized as a skid to relocate an animal by dragging the animal across a ground surface.

The area (1) has reading stations associated with one or more treatment or storage locations for the knife (37) at which a reader (33) is disposed in a manner so that any passage of a knife (37) from or to the treatment or storage location requires the article to be passed adjacent to the reader (33) to enable the unique code of the knife (37) to be automatically read by the reader (33). One of the treatment or storage locations includes a steriliser (21) for sanitising the knife (37) at prescribed intervals. An alarm and reminder alarm may also be associated with the system to alert an operator of the knife (37) when it is due for sanitising or if it hasn't been sanitised properly. The application of the system to gloves and other articles is also described.
