Abstract: A fish food dispensing assembly is comprised of: (A) a handle member; (B) a perforated container that is selectively magnetically linked to a handle member; and (C) a fish food containment ring configured to be magnetically linked to the perforated container and to the handle member. The perforated container is configured to receive fish food therein and is placed within the containment ring such that the fish food dispensed within the aquarium is substantially dispensed within a specific location within the aquarium. A floating containment ring orients a brush plate in convenient parallel position for convenient linking to the handle member. LEDs on the handle member provide illumination in different colors.

Abstract: Apparatus for storing and dispensing crickets, as food, to a live reptile. A container possesses a smooth inner surface. A hollow tube, whose length exceeds the height of the container, possesses a smooth outer surface and an inner surface suitable for grasping by crickets. A top for the container has an interior aperture for accommodating the tube in a substantially-vertical attitude when inserted. A lateral aperture at the bottom of the container provides ingress for crickets into the tube while a cap at the top assures that the crickets cannot escape.

Abstract: An automatic fish feeder has a separable container having a plurality of compartments which can be mounted on a rotatable shaft extending from an angled surface of a housing. The container has a lid with an opening through which food is dispensed. The container mounts on the rotatable shaft while the lid is fixed in position by one or more clips. Thus the container is rotatable beneath the lid to dispense food through the opening. The shaft is connected to a drive device, motor and power supply. By the proper choice of container and motor drive speed 7, 10 or 14 day automatic feeding can be reliably attained.

Abstract: This invention relates to an assembly for the automatic feeding of aquatic animals, particularly fish, in an aquarium. In use the assembly is disposed atop an aquarium or atop an aquarium hood with an opening congruous with a passage of a feed chute contained in the assembly. The end-user fills each compartment of a train, mounted on a steeply sloping ramp, with particulate or flake-type feed of his or her choosing. The train is restrained, from sliding down and dumping its contents through an aperture in the ramp, by a string connected to a float in a reservoir suspended in fluid communication above an evaporation tray. Liquid that evaporates from the tray is replaced with liquid from the reservoir, causing the float to descend. As the float descends, the attached train is allowed to advance under gravity's pull. Upper surface of the ramp forms a bottom for the train; hence, as the train advances over the aperture the feed falls freely through the aperture, down the chute and into the aquarium.

Abstract: This invention consists of a device for automatic fish feeding, and lighting of aquariums. It consists of a plate which fits over the top of an aquarium. On its top the plate is equipped with a timer, the rotating face of which is provided at its rim with a rod extending at right-angles from said face, for a single feeding per day, or with two equally spaced rods for a double feeding per day. The said rods can also be attached to the "ON" tab of the timer. The rods engage a circular turntable in which are radially located consecutive pivoted scoops, which contain fish food, causing said container to rotate in a horizontal plane. A hole is provided in the plate under the path of the scoops so that when a scoop arrives over said hole, its open front end drops through said hole discharging the food into the water. The plate is also provided with slots for the passage of light into the aquarium; and an opening for manual feeding.
