摘要： In one embodiment, a bale processor includes a hopper for receiving baled material, a discharge opening for outputting chopped material, and primary and secondary rotors. The primary rotor has an axis of rotation and a rotatable flail to chop the material from the bale received in the hopper. The secondary rotor is rotatable to chop the material after being chopped by the primary rotor, and the secondary rotor is offset from the primary rotor such that the primary rotor is between the secondary rotor and the discharge opening. The flail includes a pivot tube for rotating about the axis, first and second hammers secured to the pivot tube, and a paddle. The paddle is positioned between and secured to the first and second hammers to generate airflow when the first and second hammers are rotated at an operating speed, thereby increasing a throw distance of the chopped material.

摘要： A device for spraying bulk or piecemeal products includes a casing with a rotary spraying organ and a lateral ejection opening prolonged by a spout. The rotary organ includes radial vanes designed to form a material jet directed along the axis of the spout, with generation of a carrier air stream. The ejection opening is provided with a bounding rim disposed on that side of the opening which is last to be reached by the outer peripheral ends of the vanes in the course of their rotation during operational functioning of the device. The spraying device also includes an active and mobile organ, designed for directing the products that come into contact with it through the opening, into the spout and substantially into the jet of ejected material. The active and mobile organ is disposed in the region of the rim.

摘要： A mixer/feeder wagon (1) for mixing and dispensing batches of animal feed comprises a device (50) for monitoring operation of the mixer/feeder wagon (1) and for determining instants during a mixing cycle during which ingredients of the animal feed are to be loaded into the mixer/feeder wagon (1). The mixer/feeder wagon (1) comprises a mixing compartment (14) within which a paddle mixer (17) is rotatable for mixing the ingredients of the batch of animal feed therein. Load sensors (9) produce signals indicative of the current weight of the ingredients in the mixing compartment (14) which are read by a microprocessor (55) of the device (50). A proximity sensor (38) counts the number of revolutions of the paddle mixer 17. Particulars of the ingredients of the batch of animal feed together with the weights of the respective ingredients are stored in a RAM (56) in the device (50) as well as the instants during a mixing cycle at which the respective ingredients are to be loaded into the mixing compartment (14) based on the count of revolutions of the paddle mixer (17) from the commencement of the mixing cycle. The microprocessor (55) in response to signals from the proximity sensor (38) outputs a signal to activate a siren (67) to indicate when the next ingredient is to be loaded into the mixing compartment (14). The identities of the respective ingredients as they are to be loaded into the mixing compartment (14) are displayed on a visual display screen (54) together with the weights thereof.

The device operates like a horizontal screw total mixed ration, but at a smaller scale. The invention accepts multiple grain products through its top and mixes them to blends suitable for livestock, except for roughage products which exceed the capacity of this device. The device dispenses its mixed feed through the outlet as it meters feed into feed bunks for the livestock.

摘要： There is disclosed a feeding device (10) for dispensing bales of material from a vehicle. The feeding device (10) includes a body (12) having a surface for receiving a plurality of said bales thereon. The surface has a first end (12a) and a second end (12b) and is configured such that the plurality of bales are arranged in at least one row extending at least partially between the first and second ends (12a, 12b). A pusher (18) is slidably mounted to the surface and moveable between a first position proximal the first end (12a) and a second position proximal the second end (12b). A driving mechanism is provided and is controllable to move the pusher (18) between the first and second positions. Such movement of the pusher (18) from the first position to the second position applies a pushing force to the bales arranged in at least one row such that the bales in that row are progressively dispensed from said second end (12b) of the surface.

In one example, the auger comprises cutting knives positioned on an outside edge of the flighting for cutting bulk material during rotation of the auger. The auger also includes an angled knife connected to an outside edge of the flighting and oriented so that a blade of the angled knife is positioned at an angle suitable for allowing the angled knife to at least partially cut loosened bulk material that may be bridging in the mixing chamber thereby at least partially preventing or reducing bridging in the mixing chamber and allowing the bulk material to fall towards the floor of the mixing chamber and increasing the cutting action of the cutting knives.
