摘要: A method and assembly for distributing a granular agricultural material. The assembly includes a container that is configured to be supported by a chassis of a self-powered vehicle. A first conveyor and a second conveyor are associated with the container and configured to receive the granular material contained therein. The first conveyor and the second conveyor each extend in a longitudinal direction that is generally aligned with and offset in opposite lateral directions from a longitudinal centerline axis of the chassis. Preferably, each of the first and second conveyors are independently operable to manipulate the amount of commodity distributed to the alternate lateral sides of the underlying vehicle.

摘要: The bedding spreader has an impeller rotatable inside a housing, the impeller having a plurality of vanes rotatable around a horizontal axis, in a vertical impeller plane; the housing having an inlet opening on one side of the impeller plane and being aligned with the impeller for the impeller to receive bedding through the inlet opening during use, and an outlet opening on the other side of the impeller plane, the outlet opening being spaced from the impeller, the housing forming a bedding path in which the bedding is thrusted tangentially by the impeller against a deflector arrangement made integral to the housing, the deflector arrangement then redirecting the tangential movement of the bedding imparted by the impeller to a movement more parallel to the axis, through the outlet opening.

摘要: The cartridge spreader system includes a mobile cartridge spreader with a cartridge station configured to engage a cartridge and includes a locking controller for locking the cartridge securely into the cartridge station. The cartridge station includes an activator mechanism for activating and deactivating an engaged cartridge. The cartridge spreader includes an activation controller for activating and deactivating the cartridge. Activation of the cartridge allows the granular product contained in the cartridge to flow out of the container, through a granular chute on the cartridge station, and onto a granular product launcher which launches or impels the granular product over terrain or other surface. When the cartridge is deactivated, the flow path is sealed stopping the flow of granular product. The cartridge itself includes a fitment that engages with the cartridge station. The cartridge fitment includes an appropriately sized metering gate.

摘要: An apparatus for biological control of agricultural pests and for reducing damage to crops. The apparatus includes a container for holding biological organisms or material. The container also includes first and second ends and an opening formed at the first end for receiving the biological organisms. The apparatus has a dispensing port disposed at the second end for dispensing the biological organisms over a target location. The apparatus further includes an auger, driven by a motor and having a plurality of spiral like wire brushes, said auger mounted to and driven by a first motor; a spreader motor mount having a motor mount holding area for holding a second motor, the spreader motor mount having a motor mount connection area for connecting to the second end; and a spreader agitating device used for spreading the biological organisms or material over the target location.

摘要: A mobile spreader is shown for distributing composted materials over a ground surface. The spreader has a hopper for receiving material to be transported and distributed and a ground engaging wheel assembly for supporting the hopper for transport across the ground. A combination mixing and distribution element is rotatably mounted in the interior of the hopper for conveying material received in the hopper interior to an elongated outlet located in a discharge area of the hopper. The combination mixing and distribution element comprises a shaft having a longitudinal axis with a number of discs located at spaced axial distances thereon. The discs are uniformly inclined at an angle in the range of 15-20null relative to line drawn perpendicular the longitudinal axis of the shaft. The discs are separated by one or more tines located on the shaft and also inclined at an angle in the range of 15-20null relative to a line drawn perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shaft.

摘要: This invention relates to a particulate material thrower comprising an endless belt running over a pair of rollers which provides a loading end and discharge end on the belt, and a thrower wheel running adjacent to the belt over the roller at the discharge end. The thrower wheel is characterized by a plurality of vanes extending between the side flanges of the thrower wheel wherein the vanes are shaped in a manner so as to collect material on the belt before throwing. One advantage of the invention is to significantly increase the amount of acceleration that can be given to particles or other particulate matter without such energy being imparted to the materials quickly or in single step so that the material such as grain is not damaged. Another advantage of the invention is that it reduces side spillage or leakage from the belt.
