    摘要: A catenary conveyor belt support is provided in a conveyor system for automated bulk processing equipment. The conveyor belt launches bulk articles along a trajectory from one end to a processing station. The upper surface of the conveyor belt at one end thereof is angled with respect to a horizontal plane and determines the launch angle of the trajectory along which the articles travel. The support holds constant the catenary shape of the belt and, thus, the launch angle of the trajectory regardless of the load thereon.

    摘要: A loading trimmer for dispersing granular material from a loading chute in an adjustable trajector into the hold of a ship or the like. A trimmer carriage with spaced drums carrying an endless belt is positioned below the chute outlet and pivotal about the center of a pair of idler wheels which centrally engage the belt on either side thereof to form an arcuate material receiving and dispersing path. One of the drums is driven by a motor mounted on a remote pivotal platform connected to the trimmer carriage by connecting rods. The carriage is also connected to a remote crank through connecting rods and the crank is driven by a motor which controls the angle of the carriage with respect to the chute and the trajectory of the dispersion.

    摘要: An improved directional control apparatus for a bale thrower on a baler includes an elongated arm pivotally mounted at one end to a side of the bale case of the baler and extending generally across and under the end of the thrower being pivotally mounted to the discharge end of the bale case for side-to-side lateral swinging movement. The control apparatus also includes a hydraulic cylinder interconnecting the bale case and the free end of the elongated arm and means for slidably interconnecting the arm to the thrower such that upon actuation of the hydraulic cylinder to pivot the arm, the interconnection established between the arm and the thrower by the slidable means will cause the thrower to also pivot or laterally swing and thereby vary the direction in which bales will be thrown away from the baler by the thrower.
