摘要: A metering system for a row unit for individual dispensing of grains comprises metering devices having a chamber for carrying grains, whereby a defined pressure level in the chamber is higher than ambient pressure. At least two metering elements establish a border to the chamber, whereby the metering elements are arranged within the housing so that they can be turned and the metering elements consist of cut-outs arranged along a curved path for picking up grains. At least one grain dispensing area is intended, which is defined by the chamber and the metering elements. The grain dispensing area includes a seed inlet element for transporting separated grains to a seed metering pipe to dispense the separated grains into a furrow, whereby a pressure application device is arranged at the seed inlet element or the seed metering pipe, to produce an air stream for the acceleration of the grains.

摘要: The present invention describes an air-powered device that propels seed from a storage container and distributes seeds from a horizontal tube into a series of vertical tubes, and shoots the seeds from those vertical tubes into the ground. The device can be carried by a human user or mounted on a cart having wheels or skis, and towed through a field while being used to plant seed. The different methods of carrying and operating the device enable farmers to utilize the device in different types of terrain and during different condition. The device can be manufactured from common, affordable materials, such as PVC, and offers rural farmers a portable solution for planting their crops that is efficient and low-cost.

摘要: A planter system includes a planter having an unloading valve and a controller. The unloading valve is fluidly coupled between an inlet and an outlet of a pump. The unloading valve is configured to receive a fluid at a supply pressure, to supply a first portion of the fluid from the inlet to a hydraulic planter system at an unloading pressure less than the supply pressure, and to recirculate a remainder of the fluid to the pump via the outlet. The controller is communicatively coupled to the unloading valve and to the pump. The controller is configured to control the pressure of the fluid supplied to the inlet and to control the unloading pressure of the first portion supplied to the hydraulic planter system.

摘要: The present disclosure describes an agricultural system having a flow path configured to distribute agricultural product from a product storage tank to a row unit across a field via an air flow. The flow path includes an inlet configured to receive the agricultural product, an outlet configured to output the agricultural product, a body extending between the inlet and the outlet, and a first pressure tap and a second pressure tap each extending into the body. The agricultural system also includes a first pressure sensor fluidly coupled to the first pressure tap and configured to output a first signal indicative of a first static pressure of the air flow proximate to the first pressure tap, and a second pressure sensor fluidly coupled to the second pressure tap and configured to output a second signal indicative of a second static pressure of the air flow proximate to the second pressure tap. Further, the agricultural system includes a controller communicatively coupled to the first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensor and configured to receive the first signal and the second signal, and a supplemental air supply fluidly coupled to the flow path proximate to the inlet and configured to selectively provide a supplemental air flow to the flow path. The controller is configured to instruct the supplemental air supply to selectively provide the supplemental air flow to the flow path based on the first signal, the second signal, or a combination thereof.

Each electric sifter includes a loading port to add the payload and a distribution apparatus to distribute the payload when the aircraft is airborne. The uploaded program directs the aircraft to land at a designated location in response to a payload of a designated one of the one or more electric sifters reaching a predetermined level. In response to the device receives a command to activate the distribution apparatus, the distribution apparatus distributes the payload from the device.

摘要: An improved fertilizer knife presents a leading edge and rear tube receiving portion. The rear tube receiving portion is precision cast to frictionally receive the distal end of a flexible polymer fertilizer tube which is connected, at least indirectly, to an implement fertilizer tank. The rear tube receiving portion also has at least one opening at the lower end thereof for allowing fertilizer to escape from the flexible polymer fertilizer tube into the surrounding soil during a fertilizing operation.
