摘要: A motor has windings and a control device, which applies appropriately one-way current to each of the windings. Two full-pitch windings, which are located adjacently to both ends of an A-phase stator magnetic pole, and driving transistors are connected in series to each other to supply an A-phase current component, thereby exciting an A-phase magnetic flux component passing through the A-phase stator magnetic pole, resulting in generation of torque. This excitation is also applied to other phases. The respective stator magnetic poles can be excited selectively, and voltages across both ends of the serially connected windings become a voltage for corresponding magnetic flux components which should be provided by the windings, thus providing a more simplified motor structure and higher motor performance. The windings and transistors can be used commonly in two phases, providing an improved usage rate, thus making the motor more compact in size and reducing manufacturing cost.

摘要: A motor is provided, which has a larger torque and a high power factor in lower rotation speeds and a high power factor and a field weakened characteristic in a higher rotation speed range. The motor is provided with a long-hole shaped slit arranged between a rotor magnetic pole and a further rotor magnetic pole located adjacently to the rotor magnetic pole in a circumferential direction, a permanent magnet arranged in the slit, and a non-magnetic member arranged closely to the permanent magnet in a direction of magnetic fluxes. For large torque, this configuration reduces variations in rotor field magnetic fluxes, due to torque current components. In the rotation speeds, magnetic fluxes from the permanent magnet is suppressed from causing excessive field magnetic fluxes, which balances larger torque with higher power factors and a field weakened characteristic with higher power factors.

摘要: A motor is provided with stator windings arranged on a circumference of stator. Multiple-phase currents are supplied to the stator windings. A current is supplied to rotor windings. The multiple-phase currents include torque current components, which are arranged to be opposite in directions to torque current components of the current. By this mutually opposite-directional current arrangement, a sum of both torque current components results in a magnetomotive force of zero. It is also possible to reduce influence of the torque current components on the field magnetic fluxes of the motor. In the motor, circumferential magnetic flux components can be concentrated on an airgap and a portion near therearound, so that a larger amount of torque can be obtained, and constant output control can be performed more easily.

摘要: Prioritizing one-way rotation and one-way torque in particular, a change is induced in the partial shape of a magnetic poles on the rotor of a reluctance motor in the direction of forward movement, or magnetic resistance is increased, the torque generation range of each phase is expanded, and the increase/decrease time of an electric current is ensured to reduce the noise. With the relative increase in copper losses due to this drive method, and harmful effects from the problem of an overvoltage generated in the full-pitch windings are reduced by a drive method in which the overvoltage is cancelled out.

摘要: The torque of a permanent magnet motor is increased. There is provided a permanent magnet type motor with concentrated windings, in which each stator pole has a circumferential pitch of 185° or more in an electric angle. In this motor, the circumferential distribution of the magnetic flux density in an air gap surface of the rotor poles PR of the permanent magnet type has an approximately trapezoidal shape. Moreover, the induced voltages of the concentrated windings of the stator have an approximately trapezoidal waveform. An approximately trapezoidal-shaped waveform current is energized in the concentrated winding of each phase. Even if the magnetic flux density is close to the maximum flux density of the soft magnetic member of the stator, large slot cross-sectional areas of the stator can be secured, thus outputting a large torque.

摘要: In induction motors, efficiency is improved and a maximum torque is increased. For a magnetic flux density of the stator pole for each phase of an induction motor, a circumferential magnetic flux density distribution is controlled to any distribution state, from a trapezoidal wave-like distribution close to a square wave to a sinusoidal distribution. In particular, motor efficiency in a range of low to medium rotations is improved. The motor structure is designed to reduce the leakage inductance of the rotor windings, and the motor and control thereof are optimized for each other. This increases the maximum torque of the motor more effectively. In addition, the high efficiency of the motor makes it possible to reduce the size of the drive circuit.

摘要: A motor has stator windings arranged on a circumference of a stator, a rotor with rotor magnetic poles provided by N- and S-poles, and rotor windings arranged in a circumferential direction of the rotor magnetic poles. Multiple-phase currents are supplied to the stator windings. A current is supplied to rotor windings. The multiple-phase currents include torque current components, which are arranged to be opposite in directions to torque current components of the current. By this mutually opposite-directional current arrangement, a magnetomotive force based on a sum of both torque current components becomes a local minimum. It is possible to reduce influence of the torque current components on the field magnetic fluxes of the motor. In the motor, circumferential magnetic flux components can be collected to an airgap and a portion therearound, so that a larger amount of torque can be obtained, and constant output control can be performed more easily.
