    摘要: Exemplary embodiments include a computer-implemented method for configuring at least one antenna array comprising receiving a plurality of sets of samples corresponding to signals incident on a plurality of antennas; computing a mean of the envelopes of the sums of the respective sets; estimating a direction of arrival of the signals incident on the antennas based on the computed means; and configuring the antenna array based on the estimated direction of arrival. The computing and estimating procedures can be performed for each of a plurality of direction-of-arrival candidates. The estimating procedure can comprise determining a maximum value of the mean and a direction of arrival corresponding to the maximum value. The spatial selectivity of the antenna array can be configured based on the estimated direction of arrival. Other exemplary embodiments can include communication apparatus and computer-readable media embodying one or more of the exemplary computer-implemented methods and/or procedures.

    摘要: There are disclosed a method of communicating for a smart utility network using a TV white space and an apparatus for the same. The method of communicating for a smart utility network using a TV white space according to the present invention includes: generating a time domain sequence repeated every predetermined number of samples; generating an OFDM symbol having a cyclic prefix length corresponding to an FFT size divided by a natural number of 2 or more and including samples of a number corresponding to the sum of the FFT size and the cyclic prefix length; and generating an SUN packet to be transmitted through a TV channel band selected in the TV white space by using the time domain sequence and the OFDM symbol. Accordingly, it is possible to satisfy all requirements required by the IEEE 802.15.4g SUN standardization group.

    摘要: The present invention relates to base station transmitting and receiving antennas and control methods thereof. For this purpose, the present invention provides a control method of a base station transmitting antenna. The control method includes collecting positional information and transmission level values of all terminals in a cell; analyzing statistics of cell traffic using the positional information and transmission level values, and generating antenna radiation patterns on the basis of the analyzed statistics result; optimizing the antenna radiation patterns by synthesizing beam patterns; and changing antenna beam patterns according to the optimized antenna radiation patterns. According to embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to increase a channel capacity in a cell, ensure the QoS in all terminals in the cell, and reduce installation and operation costs of a base station system.
