    Abstract: Method for operating a drive unit for a hybrid vehicle, whereas the drive unit comprises a drive assembly (3) with an internal combustion engine (1) and an electric motor (2) and a transmission (5) featuring several sub-transmissions (6, 7) shifting between the drive assembly (3) and an output (4), whereas, through a planetary transmission (10), the electric motor (2) is coupled to an input shaft (8) of a first sub-transmission (6) and an input shaft (9) of a second sub-transmission (7) shifted in parallel to the first sub-transmission (6), whereas, through a frictional-locking separating clutch (11), the internal combustion engine (1) is able to be coupled to the input shaft (8) of the first sub-transmission (6) and, if the separating clutch (11) is locked, is coupled to the same element (15) of the planetary transmission (10) together with the input shaft (8) of the first sub-transmission (8), and whereas, for the coupling of the internal combustion engine (1) at the output (4) coming out of all-electric driving, the torque provided by the internal combustion engine (1) is transferred through the slip-controlled separating clutch (11), in order to, upon all-electric driving, unload the previously locked shift element and disengage it in the unloaded state.

    Abstract: A hybrid drive of a motor vehicle includes a combustion engine, an electric machine, a gear box, and a superimposed transmission. The gearbox includes an input shaft, and first and second output shafts, and the input shaft is connected to the first and second output shafts via switchable spur gear stages. The superimposed transmission is connected non-rotatably to a hollow shaft arranged coaxially with the second output shaft. The hollow shaft is connected non-rotatably to an idler of an axially adjacent switchable spur gear stage via a first coupling-switching element, and the hollow shaft is fixed at a housing via an interlock switching device. A bridging contact member connects the hollow shaft to the superimposed transmission, and the superimposed transmission is also permanently connected to a rotor of the electric machine.
