Abstract: In some implementations, a system may receive, from a camera, an image that depicts an object on a conveyor. The system may cause, based on an image processing model indicating that the image depicts the object, a robotic arm to attach to a label printer. The system may determine, using the image processing model, an object position of the object on the conveyor. The system may cause the robotic arm to move the label printer into an application position that corresponds to the object position on the conveyor. The system may cause the label printer to print a label. The system may cause the label printer to apply the label to the object.

Abstract: An embodiment of a cradle has a cradle body configured to support a printing device. The cradle has first and second printer capture flanges extending from the cradle body proximate a capture end of the cradle body. The cradle has first and second biased latches extending from the cradle body between the capture end and a release end of the cradle body. The cradle has a biased release member movable between a first position and a release position. The cradle has a release linkage supported by the cradle body, the release linkage coupling the biased release member and the first and second biased latches, wherein the release linkage is structured to drive the first and second biased latches from respective locked positions to respective unlocked positions in response to movement of the biased release member from a first position to a release position.

Abstract: Disclosed is a label application device for applying a label to an object. The label application device comprises a media roll holder configured to secure a media roll, a tamp arm configured to move from a retracted position to an extended position, and a print head located between the media roll holder and the tamp arm. The print head is configured to receive the media roll, feed the media roll into the print head, and eject the media roll. The tamp arm comprises a tamp pad attached to an end of the tamp arm. The tamp pad comprises a vacuum port configured to suction the media roll against the tamp pad. The tamp arm further comprises a blade attached to the tamp arm. The blade is configured to cut the media roll as the tamp arm moves from the retracted position to the extended position.
