Abstract: Reduction of power loss and operation in a two-phase mode are made possible.The power converter of present invention is a power converter composed of a core formed by a magnetic material and a winding wire wound at a predetermined position of the core and operating in a two-phase mode, in which the core is a closed magnetic path constituted by a center leg, a cylindrical first outer leg arranged in parallel with the center leg and around which the winding wire is wound, and a second outer leg arranged at a position opposite to the first outer leg with respect to the center leg.

Abstract: Provided is an inductor which effectively uses a mounting space and has remarkably reduced radiation noise. The inductor is provided with a magnetic core (1) having a high magnetic permeability, and a coil element (2) integrally embedded in the magnetic core. The magnetic core (1) has a spherical structure, and the coil element (2) has a spherical coil structure wherein a coil conductive wire is spherically laminated. The extracting end of the coil element configures connecting terminals (2a, 2b) by extending to the external of the magnetic core. Since the coil element having the spherical coil structure is integrally embedded inside the magnetic core having the spherical structure, a leaking magnetic flux is remarkably reduced and the magnetic flux is prevented from being disturbed.

Abstract: A power converting apparatus makes reduction of power loss possible and operates in a two-phase mode. A power converting apparatus of the inventive concept includes I-shaped block cores, each being made of a magnetic material; and E-shaped cores, each being produced by combining two L-shaped magnetic materials to each of the I-shaped cores. In each of the E-shaped cores, the block core is defined as a central leg, the other two legs are defined as a first outside leg and a second outside leg, respectively, and a closed magnetic path is configured by two E-shaped cores combined such that one of respective central legs in the two E-shaped cores, one of respective first outside legs therein, and one of respective second outside legs therein are caused to face the other of the central legs, the other of the first outside legs, and the other of the second outside legs.
