    摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sheet post-processing apparatus which facilitates eliminating of a jammed sheet occurring in the path when sheets discharged from an image forming apparatus are stored as being sorted into two directions. The present invention comprises a sheet post-processing apparatus including a first conveying path through which a sheet introduced from a first introducing port is conveyed, a second conveying path through which a sheet introduced from a second introducing port is conveyed, and a stack portion which stacks sheets conveyed through the second conveying path and which is configured to have at least a part of the stack portion be swingable about an axis intersecting with a sheet conveyance direction of a sheet conveyed to the second conveying path between a stack position where sheets are stacked and an open position where the first introducing port of the first conveying path is opened.

A sheet crimp-binding device includes: a conveying path along which a sheet is conveyed in a predetermined conveying direction; a placing part on which the sheet conveyed along the conveying path is placed; a stack part provided at a location downstream from the placing part in the sheet conveying direction; a discharge unit that discharges the sheet from the placing part to the stack part; a shift unit that moves the sheet placed on a placing position on the placing part in a direction along a sheet surface and perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction; a crimp-binding unit that applies crimp-binding processing to sheets that have been moved in the direction perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction by the shift unit to a crimp-binding position; a recognition unit that recognizes count information of a sheet.

    摘要: A pH measuring method includes: illuminating a medium solution, which includes: a first material; and a second material, with a plurality of light beams, which includes: a first light beam, a wavelength of which corresponds to a first absorption peak; a second light beam, a wavelength of which corresponds to a second absorption peak or a second convergence point; a third light beam, a wavelength of which corresponds to a third absorption peak or a third convergence point; and a fourth light beam, a wavelength of the fourth light beam at which an absorbance of at least one of the first and second materials is converged irrespective of a pH; receiving transmitted or reflected light beams of the first to fourth light beams; measuring absorbances at the wavelengths of the received light beams respectively; and calculating a pH of the medium solution based on the absorbances.

    摘要: This invention provides a cell pattern recovery tool comprising a base material layer having a surface subjected to easy adhesion treatment, a temperature responsive polymer layer that is provided on the base material layer and has a surface subjected to silane treatment, and a cell adhesion inhibiting material layer provided on the temperature responsive polymer layer. According to the present invention, a cell pattern can be rapidly recovered while maintaining the cell pattern stably and reliably under minimally invasive conditions for the cells.

    摘要: A magnetic layer for writing incorporates: a pole layer having an end face located in a medium facing surface and a lower yoke layer. A first magnetic layer for flux concentration is connected to the lower yoke layer at a location away from the medium facing surface, and passes a magnetic flux corresponding to a magnetic field generated by a first coil. A second magnetic layer for flux concentration is connected to the pole layer at a location away from the medium facing surface, and passes a magnetic flux corresponding to a magnetic field generated by a second coil. A nonmagnetic layer is disposed between the pole layer and the lower yoke layer. The lower yoke layer is connected to the pole layer at a location closer to the medium facing surface than the nonmagnetic layer.

    摘要: A magnetic head with a main pole is provided. The main pole has a bottom end including an inclined portion. A write shield has a first inclined surface opposed to the inclined portion and a second inclined surface that is located farther from a medium facing surface than is the first inclined surface. The first inclined surface has a first end located in the medium facing surface and a second end opposite thereto. The second inclined surface has a third end connected to the second end and a fourth end opposite thereto. The second inclined surface forms a greater angle than does the first inclined surface relative to a direction perpendicular to the medium facing surface. The distance between the main pole and an arbitrary point on the second inclined surface increases with decreasing distance between the arbitrary point and the fourth end.

The return path section is located forward of the main pole in a direction of travel of a recording medium to thereby define a space. The coil includes a first coil element and second coil elements extending to pass through the space. The second coil elements are located forward of the first coil element in the direction of travel of the recording medium. The return path section includes a first portion located such that the first coil element is interposed between the first portion and the medium facing surface, and a second portion located such that the second coil elements are interposed between the second portion and the medium facing surface.
