摘要: An auto-focus apparatus, a focus adjusting method, an image capturing apparatus and an image capturing method make it possible to perform accurate focus adjustment on a subject for which the focus should be adjusted. The auto-focus apparatus emits an irradiation wave from emitting means for irradiation to a subject while changing an incident angle of the irradiation wave, detects an incident angle of a reflected wave of the irradiation wave reflected by the subject, incident on light receiving means positioned corresponding to the emitting means, determines based on the emitting angle and the incident angle whether or not the subject is a subject for which the focus is adjusted, and adjusts the focus on the subject when determining that the subject is the subject for which the focus should be adjusted, thereby making it possible to accurately adjust the focus on the subject for which the focus should be adjusted.

摘要: Focus control is provided by estimating an estimation value by extracting a high-frequency component of a video signal for each focus lens position. The correct focus lens position for focusing a target object is determined as that focus lens position where the estimation value for a plurality of conditions at a particular focus lens position becomes maximum. The estimation value is determined to be maximum when, for successive focus lens positions, the estimation value decreases continuously. The various conditions for imaging, according to an aspect of the focus control, includes the filter coefficients for extracting the high-frequency component of the video signal and the size of the windows from which the video signal is imaged. The estimation value for each focus lens position is determined for these various conditions for imaging and a predetermined weight is allocated thereto, wherein the estimation value is determined to increase when the weighted sum indicating an increase outweighs that for a decrease.

摘要: A single-stage refrigerating system includes a compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, and a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between a refrigerant in a path from the evaporator to the compressor and a refrigerant in another path from the condenser to the evaporator, and a non-azeotropic refrigerant mixture used in the system. The refrigerant mixture is a combination of a refrigerant having a normal boiling point of approximately room temperature and a low-boiling-point refrigerant having a normal boiling point below −60° C. A dew point of the refrigerant mixture at a pressure in the condensing process after the compression is above room temperature. The boiling point is higher than the dew point at a pressure in the lower-pressure region in a path from the evaporator to the compressor. The combination may include butane or isobutane as the high-boiling-point refrigerant component having a normal boiling point of approximately room temperature and having a low evaporating pressure and ethane or ethylene as the low-boiling-point refrigerant component suitable for achieving ultra-low temperature.

摘要: On a single-stage type refrigerating system using non-azeotropic refrigerant, composing with a compressor (1), a condenser (2), and an evaporator (10), heat exchanging between returned-refrigerant from evaporator and high-pressure refrigerant toward evaporator, electromagnetic valves (5-1 to 5-4) of capillary tubes (6-1 to 6-4) as expansion valves of evaporator are fully open, at moments of large load needed such as at starting up, the system is controlled flux of refrigerant gas and pressure of it by closing them one by the other corresponding to going down of interior room temperature. As the state of interior room temperature is high and low boiling point constituent is not condensed, cooling capability of high boiling point refrigerant performs in maximum.
