摘要: The present invention provides a non-aqueous secondary battery having an improved charge and discharge cycle property and high discharge voltage, high energy density, high capacity and increased stability as well as an excellent high electric current atitude by using a lithium-containing transition metal oxide as a positive electrode material and at least one of the specfified composite oxides as a negative electrode material. Accordingly, the feature of the present invention consists in that the negative electrode material mainly consists of at least one member selected from the group consisting of amorphous chalcogen compounds and amorphous oxides containing at least three atoms selected from the group consisting of Group 13, 14, 15 and 2 atoms of Periodic Table.

摘要: A nonaqueous secondary battery comprises an anode active material comprising a carbonaceous material, an electrolyte and a cathode active material comprising a lithium-containing transition metal chalcogenide. The carbonaceous material is obtained by burning a polyacrylonitrile fiber and has length of a crystallite in the c-axis direction of 75 to 250 .ANG. and an interval of 002 faces of 3.41 to 3.44 .ANG., the length and the interval being determined from an X-ray diffraction spectrum thereof using a Cu-K.alpha. ray.

摘要: A nonaqueous secondary battery is disclosed, comprising a positive electrode having a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode having a negative electrode material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, wherein the positive electrode active material is a transition metal oxide capable of intercalating and deintercalating lithium, and the negative electrode material comprises at least one silicic material capable of intercalating and deintercalating lithium selected from silicon, a silicon alloy and a silicide, and a process for producing the nonaqueous secondary battery is disclosed.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a substrate for presensitized plates for use in making lithographic printing plates comprises the steps of electrolytically surface-roughening an aluminum plate or an aluminum alloy plate in a nitric acid-containing electrolyte and then etching the surface with an alkali or an acid to thus form irregularity in the order of not more than 0.1 .mu.m within pits formed on the surface during the electrolytic surface roughening treatment. The method makes it possible to provide a lithographic printing plate stably and simultaneously having excellent printing durability and good resistance to background contamination of non-image areas.
