Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing shipment of a plurality of online orders for one or more carriers from a distribution center. The systems and methods include receiving online orders that each comprise a product and a delivery destination for delivering the product, determining the delivery destination for delivering the product of each of the online orders, determining a distribution center to fulfill the online orders, determine a route for each carrier to deliver products of the online orders. The route for each of the carriers can be determined based on a score, and can be in a generally curve shape starting from the distribution center, through the delivery destinations, and ending at the distribution center.

Abstract: In various examples, a system identify a first issue object associated with the alert by making a first set of determinations, based on an alert of an active issue of a system resource. Additionally, the system can determine whether the active issue associated with the first issue object can be automatically corrected by one or more self-healing processes, based on the first issue object. Moreover, the system can implement the one or more self-healing processes, based on determining that the active issue associated with the first issue object can be automatically corrected by one or more self-healing processes.

Abstract: Described in detail herein are systems and methods for an object replacement system. A central computing system can receives data associated with quantities of like physical objects from remote systems. The central computing system can adjust the first quantity of the like physical objects stored in the first one of the remote systems based on the second quantity of the like physical objects stored in the at least another one of the remote systems. The central computing system can determine the like physical objects are absent from the facility. An autonomous robot device can detect a vacant space at the designated location at which the like physical objects are supposed to be disposed. The autonomous robot device using the image capturing device can capture an image of the vacant space. The central computing system can determine a set of like replacement physical objects to be disposed in the vacant space.

Abstract: An example system for solving a non-deterministic polynomial-time problem associated with item assortment selection from a plurality of items is described. The system includes databases configured to electronically store data corresponding to item categories and attributes of items. The system includes a computing system configured to receive a selection of an item category, determine items and attributes of the items associated with the selected item category, select a sample of the items, execute a first module to generate a first assortment from the sample of the items (the first module executing according to a non-polynomial processing time), and execute a second module to generate a second assortment from the sample of the items. The computing system validates the second assortment based on the first assortment and executes the second module to generalize the second assortment for the total number of items according to a polynomial processing time.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for fulfilling an online order. The systems and methods include identifying a product and a delivery destination in an online order, identifying at least one distribution center and retail store having the product within a defined radius from the delivery destination, determining a cost for each of the distribution center and retail store to fulfill the online order, and selecting one of the distribution center and retail to fulfill the online order. The cost for filling the online order can be based one or more of a shipping cost for delivery of the product to the delivery destination, a replenishment cost for replenishing the distribution center and retail store with the product a lost sales cost for the distribution center and retail store to ship the product.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for generating rate-of-sales models for products based on historical data of when products are being sold, then generating, in real-time, schedules for restocking items on store shelfs such that the amount of items on the shelf maintain desired rates of sales per the prediction models. This is accomplished used historical data in combination with real-time data regarding the current shelf inventory, as well as updating machine-learning models to improve estimates over time.

Abstract: Examples provide a set of smart shelves including sensors for generating sensor data associated with one or more items displayed on the set of smart shelves. If the shelf sensor data indicates an item is removed from a smart shelf, the smart shelf sends out an item notification, including item data associated with the removed item. The item notification is sent to a set of smart carts within a notification zone. A smart cart includes sensor devices generating cart sensor data associated with items placed inside the smart cart device. If the cart sensor data indicates the removed item is placed into one of the smart carts, the smart cart sends a confirmation message to the smart shelf and any other smart carts within the notification zone. The smart cart receiving the removed item updates a list of items in the cart to include the removed item.

Abstract: Examples provide a transparent scan platform within an item scanning tunnel on the same plane as a set of conveyor belts. The transparent scan platform includes a plurality of interconnected transparent segments or a transparent band forming a continuous transparent platform rotating about a set of rollers. The transparent scan platform includes a scan device embedded within the platform or positioned under the transparent scan platform. The scan device scans an item identifier, such as a barcode, located on an item sitting on a top surface of the transparent scan platform. The transparent scan platform rolls the item out of the scanning tunnel. If the item becomes wedged between an end of the scan platform and an end of a conveyor belt, a sweeper device extends downward behind the item and sweeps the item out of the scanning tunnel. The sweeper device then retracts back upward.
