    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a liquid crystal display and a backlight module which includes a reflective sheet, a light guide plate disposed on the reflective sheet, an optical assembly and a light source assembly, the light guide plate including a light guide portion and a support portion disposed to surround the light guide portion, and the optical assembly being located on a top of the light guide portion; and the light source assembly including a plurality of LEDs which are disposed between the support portion and the light guide portion and disposed to be opposite to an incident surface of the light guide portion. The light guide plate according to the present disclosure includes a light guide portion and a support portion disposed to surround the light guide portion, wherein the support portion is used to support the display module and fix the backlight module, thereby omitting a rubber frame.

    Abstract: A backlight module includes a lamp set, a light guiding plate, a diffuser, a top prism sheet, and a down prism sheet. The diffuser includes a first end and a second end opposite to each other, the first end of the diffuser is closer to the lamp set than the second end, and the diffuser includes a first end and a second end opposite to each other. The diffuser includes the overlapped portion stacked with the top/down prism sheets and the extended portion extending from the overlapped portion. On the first end of the diffuser, the light beams emitted by the light guiding plate may be processed by the first extended portion, instead of being emitted out directly. This can avoid the bright lines occurred by the backlit so as to reduce the optical leakage. In addition, a display device is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal screen includes an upper polarization sheet, an upper glass plate, a lower glass plate, and a lower polarization sheet that are stacked sequentially. The upper polarization sheet and the lower polarization sheet are bonded to each other by adhesive to form a box having an open end. The upper glass plate and the lower glass plate are received in the box. Side faces of the upper glass plate and the lower glass plate are covered by the adhesive. The upper glass plate and the lower glass plate project out of the upper polarization sheet and the lower polarization sheet from an edge thereof. Areas between the upper and lower glass plates and the edge of the upper and slower polarization sheets are bonded by the adhesive. A liquid crystal display is also provided.

    Abstract: A backlight module includes a light guide plate including a light incident surface having first and second light incident sections and a light propagation track that extends from the first light incident section into the light guide plate and delimits a light propagation path and is formed with an opening. A light bar includes first and second light sources respectively corresponding to the first and second light incident sections to allow light to enter the light propagation path to be reflected by the light propagation track for outward emission and allow light to enter the light guide plate for outward emission from the light emission surface. A control circuit is electrically connected to the first light source and the second light source for controlling ON/OFF states of the first light source and the second light source thereby allowing for displaying in a sectionized fashion.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a backlight module and a display device, the backlight module comprises a light guide plate, a light bar and a light blocking tape, the light guide plate comprises a light entrance surface and three peripheral side surfaces, the light bar provides a light source for the light guide plate on one side of the light entrance surface, and the light blocking tape covers the three peripheral side surfaces to prevent light that from the light source entering the light guide plate from being emitted from three peripheral side surfaces. So that there is not light leakage in the three peripheral side surfaces, the plastic frame of the prior art for providing to prevent leakage of the three peripheral side surfaces, is eliminated, thereby reducing the weight and width of the backlight module to achieve which to be light and narrow, and reducing production costs.
