摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure are related a method for wireless communication. The method comprises receiving by a base station (BS), signals from a plurality of user equipment's (UEs) and obtaining channel estimates associated with each UE using the received signals. Next. calculating a first metric for each UE, and each of the plurality of beams associated with the BS using the obtained channel estimates and determining one or more best beams from a plurality of beams associated with the BS. and a second metric for each UE using the first metric. Further, segregating the UEs into groups based on the determined one or more best beams and the second metric. Thereafter. performing beamforming on control channel based on the one or more best beams, and performing allocation of at least one of resources, modulation and coding scheme for a control channel based on the segregated groups.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure are related to a receiver and a method for receiving signal. The method comprises estimating, by a receiver, channel for each of a plurality of antennas using the received signal stream, to produce a plurality of estimated channels. Also, method comprises grouping a predetermined number of received signals from the received signal stream and estimated channels associated with the received signals to obtain a plurality of groups. Further, a group specific filtering is performed on the received signals and corresponding estimated channels of each of the plurality of groups to obtain filtered received signals and a plurality of filtered estimated channels. Thereafter, the method comprises performing second filtering on all the filtered received signals to produce second filtered signals, which are processed to produce an output.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method of processing received signal using a massive MIMO base station (BS). The BS comprises a radio unit (RU), a distributed unit (DU) and an interface. The method comprises receiving a plurality of signals corresponding to the plurality of antennas, said signals comprises at least one of data signals, demodulation reference signals (DMRS) and sounding reference signals (SRS). The RU or DU performs a grouping operation on a subset of the plurality of signals corresponding to a subset of antennas to generate signal groups. The RU performs a first stage filtering on the signals associated with each group using group specific filters to obtain group specific filtered signals. The DU performs a second stage filtering on the group specific filtered signals to obtain second stage filtered signals.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a base station and method for communication in a communication network. The method comprising signaling a DMRS-configuration or SRS-configuration to at least one UE. The DMRS-configuration comprises signaling at least one antenna port number from multiple antenna port numbers, each antenna port number indicates location of occupied subcarriers and null subcarriers associated with a DMRS transmission of the at least one UE. The SRS-configuration comprises signaling of parameters associated with a time, a frequency and a code. The method also comprises receiving a data and DMRS signals, or SRS signals corresponding to the at least one UE. Further, grouping a subset of the signals corresponding to a subset of antennas to generate a plurality of signal groups. Next, performing first stage filtering at RU followed by second stage filtering at DU of the signals associated with each signal groups to obtain filtered signals.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and system to selecting a waveform in a communication network. The method comprises selecting at least one sequence from a plurality of sequences for transmitting, said plurality of sequences comprises a plurality of sub-set of sequences such that a sequence in a sub-set of sequences is a cyclic shifted version another sequence in said sub-set of sequences. Also, the method comprises rotating at least one sequence from a plurality of sequences by 90 degrees to produce at least one rotated sequence. Further, the method comprises transforming the at least one rotated sequence into frequency domain using a Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) to generate a transformed sequence and mapping the transformed sequence using a plurality of subcarriers to generate a mapped sequence. Thereafter, the method comprises processing the mapped sequence to generate a waveform having an optimized PAPR, optimized auto and cross-correlation.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a base station (BS) and method for communication in a communication network. Also, the method comprises receiving a data and a reference signal (RS) corresponding to the UE. The data and the RS are received on one or more receive antennas of the BS, wherein the RS comprises occupied RS subcarriers and null subcarriers. A location of occupied RS subcarriers and null subcarrier positions are selected according to signaled antenna port. Next, channel parameters are estimated using the occupied subcarriers associated with the received RS, and interference plus noise parameters using the null subcarriers. Thereafter, equalizing the received data on the receive antennas using the measured channel parameters and the interference plus noise parameters for interference rejection and data detection.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to system and method for generating a waveform in a communication network is disclosed. The method comprises determining precoder information using one of an indication from a base station and predetermined parameters corresponding to precoding. The predetermined parameters are one of coefficients of the precoding filter, and flatness requirement of the precoding filter. Also, the method comprises generating a sequence of output modulation symbols, wherein each output modulation symbol is obtained using a block of input data symbols and a lookup table. The lookup table is a function of the precoder information and predetermined modulation information. Next, the sequence of output modulation symbols is transformed using Discrete Fourier Transform to generate transformed output modulation symbols. Thereafter, mapping the transformed output modulation symbols using a plurality of subcarriers to generate a sub-carrier mapped symbols and processing the sub-carrier mapped symbols to generate a waveform.
