摘要： A catalyst for the production of polyethylene and modified polyethylene having a narrow molecular weight distribution comprising the reaction product of (A) a reaction product of one mol of trialkyl aluminum having from two to eight carbon atoms in each of the alkyls with from one to two mols of a polysiloxane having a viscosity of from 5 to 100 cSt (25*C) and monomer units having the formula

WHERE R is alkyl having one to six carbon atoms, cycloalkyl or aryl and (B) a compound of the formulae
