Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to enable mobile network operators to dynamically determine when a Low-Latency, Low-Loss Scalable-Throughput (L4S) service shall be enabled for a data flow. A network device in a core network receives a request for a Quality of Service (QoS) flow associated with a user equipment (UE) device; determines whether to enable a LS4 service for the QoS flow; and notifies, based on the determining, a Session Management Function (SMF) to create the QoS flow with L4S service enabled.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a network slice deployment service is described. The network slice deployment service includes storing network resource and capability information that indicates available network resources in a network. Network level requirement information pertaining to a request for network service from a user is generated. The network level requirement information is used to select available network resources based on the network resource capability information. The network slice deployment service calculates network resource utilization associated with available network resources so that optimal usage of network resources can be selected and end-to-end network slice deployment layout information can be generated and used to provision a network slice deployment layout that supports the request for network service.

Abstract: Systems and methods implement closed loop analytics feedback for a transport network. A network device, such as a Network Data Analytics Function (NWDAF), receives, from a commissioning network function, an analytic information request for analytic event information and sends, to the commissioning network function, an analytic report that is responsive to the analytic information request wherein the analytic report includes a unique analytic report identifier. The network device receives, from the commissioning network function, a feedback event message that includes the analytic report identifier and a change description for a network parameter change influenced by the analytic report.

Abstract: A device may receive application information of an application to be deployed in a cloud computing environment. The application information may include requirement information including information defining a compute requirement of the application, a storage requirement of the application, and a network connectivity requirement of the application, and first capability information identifying requested capabilities of the first set of devices. The device may receive second capability information identifying actual capabilities of the second set of devices. The device may compare the first capability information and the second capability information to determine a measure of similarity between the first capability information and the second capability information. The device may generate deployment information for deploying the application on a device, of the second set of devices, based on the measure of similarity.

Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide deployment optimization service. A network device in a network receives an order for virtual network function (VNF) deployments at network edge locations. The network device maps a radio access network (RAN) topology for the network edge locations. The network device identifies time windows to perform the VNF deployments, based on the order, historical transport and RAN utilization data, and the RAN topology. The network device selects an optimal time window to perform the VNF deployments based on stored policy rules and pushes software images for the VNF deployments to an image repository in a geographical region near the network edge locations. The network device analyzes, for the optimal time window, real-time network data for a pre-emptive condition. The network device pre-empts the VNF deployments when a pre-emptive condition is identified and initiates the VNF deployments when no pre-emptive condition is identified.

Abstract: A device may obtain network information associated with a network device to be installed at a particular location in a network. The device may select, based on the network information, a virtual distributed unit (vDU), of a plurality of vDUs, to be deployed on the network device. The device may generate, based on selecting the vDU, deployment information associated with the vDU, where the deployment information includes configuration information that is configured for the particular location. The device may send the deployment information to the network device to cause the vDU to be automatically deployed on the network device.

A network device receives an assignment policy for selecting an AMF from a group of available AMFs, wherein the assignment policy includes network slice priorities for available network slices in the RAN; stores the assignment policy; receives, during a registration procedure initiated by an end device, Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (NSSAI); identifies, from the NSSAI, multiple single-NSSAIs (S-NSSAIs); and selects, based on the assignment policy, an AMF for a highest priority S-NSSAI, of the multiple S-NSSAIs.
