    摘要: The card connector of this invention has an erroneous insertion prevention mechanism that blocks the IC card at a predetermined blocking position when the IC card is wrongly inserted into the connector body. The erroneous insertion prevention mechanism has a blocking member retractably supported on the first side wall and an urging means to normally urge the blocking member to project inwardly from the second side wall. When the IC card is inserted in a correct orientation, the blocking member is guided by the inclined surface of the IC card to be retracted outwardly from the first side wall. When the IC card is inserted in a wrong orientation, the blocking member abuts against the front end of the IC card, blocking the further insertion of the IC card at the blocking position.

    摘要: A card upside-down insertion preventive apparatus comprises a truncated corner portion formed at one end of a leading edge portion of a square card, a card tray disposed in a card insertion chamber communicating with a card inlet port, the card tray having a front abutment member and capable of moving in accordance with insertion of the card, the leading edge of the card being brought into abutment with the front abutment portion when the card is inserted through the card inlet port, a lock claw formed on the card tray, the lock claw being capable of displacing upwardly and downwardly in a direction perpendicular to the card insertion direction, a pressure receiving portion formed on the claw in a region within the truncated corner portion of the card which is in abutment with the front abutment member, the pressure receiving portion causing the lock claw to displace downwardly by being pressed by a non-truncated corner portion formed at the other end of the front edge portion of the card when the card is inserted upside down, and an engagement portion formed at a location corresponding to a lower surface of the card tray and adapted to engage the lock claw when the lock claw has displaced downwardly.

    摘要: A shutter mechanism for an electrode pad attached card and a contact comprises a slider which can reciprocally move forwardly and backwardly in accordance with insertion and withdrawal of an electrode pad attached card. A contact guide groove is formed in the slider in such a manner as to extend in a direction of the reciprocal movement of the slider and adapted to guide a contacting projection of a contact. A release groove is formed in a bottom surface of the contact guide groove, the release groove having a smaller width than that of the guide groove and extending in the direction of the reciprocal movement of the slider. The release groove is in opposing relation with the contacting projection, a slip portion formed at an area in the vicinity of the contacting projection, the slip portion being resiliently contacted with a stepped portion formed along an opening edge of the release groove. The slider is reciprocally moved with the slip portion resiliently contacting the stepped portion and canceling the resilient contact relation with the stepped portion at an end of the forward movement of the slider so that the contacting projection is resiliently contacted with the card electrode pad.

    摘要: A card-in type connector is to be inserted into an electronic device in order to add a memory function to the electronic device. A contact to be contacted with a memory card is disposed within a thin and flat type insulative case into which the memory card is withdrawably inserted and, a pair of spaced apart, parallel cantilever arms extend forwardly from a distal end of the thin and flat type insulative case. A wiring board is interposed between the cantilever arms and an end portion of the contact is connected to a rear end portion of the wiring board by soldering. A connecting device to be withdrawably inserted into a connecting device on the electronic device side is interposed between front end portions of the cantilever arms, and an end portion of a contact of the connecting device is connected to a front end portion of the wiring board by soldering.

    摘要: The card connector of the present invention is formed to have a hollow housing shape by combining two housing members with each other and an ejecting mechanism for ejecting a card, wherein the ejecting mechanism includes an ejecting member for ejecting the card and a spring member for elastically biasing the ejecting member, and a cam having a loop-like cam groove around the cam is provided on a lateral side of the ejecting member; one end of the a cam lever being held by one of the housing members and the other end of the cam lever being slidable along the cam groove formed around the cam. Thereby, the card connector can be to reduce a width thereof by providing a heart cam and to shorten a length of the ejecting member so that the card connector becomes small in size as a whole.
