摘要： A distortion effector includes a calculation section for performing a predetermined higher-degree expression calculation on an input digital sound signal, and a multiplication section that is provided in series with the calculation section for multiplying the digital sound signal by a coefficient that is adjusted so as to utilize a specific portion of the higher-degree expression which exhibits a smooth distortion characteristic. The digital sound signal is distorted in accordance with a smooth non-linear curve based on the higher-degree expression calculation, to thereby achieve a mild distortion effect. In a multi-effector capable of imparting three or more predetermined effects in such a manner that the effects can be selected to be imparted independently of each other, a registration device is provided for registering, for each of the effects, whether the effect should be made switchable or not. When a collective-switching switch is operated, control is performed such that the effect-on or effect-off state is inversively switched for any effect registered as switchable. For any effect registered as non-switchable by the registration device, the effect-on or effect-off state is not switched even when the collective-switching switch is operated.

The sound field control apparatus is comprised of a master device, and a plurality of salve devices serially connected in cascade to the master device. In the master device, a picked-up sound signal input section inputs picked-up sound signals from a plurality of microphones. A signal processing section generates reflected sound signals from the input picked-up sound signals. A cascade output terminal outputs the reflected sound signals. In each of the slave devices, a cascade input terminal inputs the generated reflected sound signal, a plurality of signal processing sections correspond to a plurality of speakers and each adjust sound characteristics of the input reflected sound signals and generate and output signals to the corresponding speakers. A cascade output terminal directly outputs the input reflected sound signals. A desired number of slave devices are serially connected in cascade to the master device, and the speakers correspond in number to a number of the slave devices.

A first volume control device (127-1), an operation position thereof is operative automatically, is provided for controlling a first gain of an audio signal. A position control device (128-1) is provided correspondingly to the first volume control device. A second volume control device (124-1), an operation position thereof is operative automatically, is provided for controlling a second gain of the audio signal, so that a total gain applicable to the audio signal is determined by the operation positions of the first and second volume control devices. A controller is provided for setting, when the position control device is operated, the operation position of the first volume control device to a pre-specified standard position (0 dB), and for setting the operation position of the second volume control device to a position where a previous total gain before the position control device is operated is maintained.

摘要： An amplifier controller for controlling a plurality of amplifiers connected therewith is provided. Each of said amplifiers is provided with one or more audio output channels. The amplifier controller operates in two modes of solo mode and normal mode. When the solo mode is initiated, the amplifier controller instructs all of the amplifiers to turn off output of all audio output channels provided in the amplifiers, and only in the solo mode, according to selection of an output channel for which solo output is to be performed, the amplifier controller instructs the amplifier provided with the selected channel to turn on output of the channel, and instructs each of the amplifiers provided with an audio output channel other than the selected channel to turn off output of the audio output channel.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a digital mixer that selectively provides audio signal processing functions to a user depending on the authority granted to the user's log-in credentials. The preferred embodiment of the digital mixer includes a mounting unit for removably mounting a storage medium, a detector for detecting the mounting or removal of the storage medium, a determining portion for determining whether a user key is stored in the mounted storage medium, and a control portion that, upon the determining portion confirming that the mounted storage medium includes a user key, causes the digital mixer to display a log-on screen for a specific user who is associated with the stored user key. In accordance with the preferred embodiment, the digital mixer automatically logs out the user upon detecting that the storage medium is removed from the digital mixer.

摘要： A digital mixing system is provided in which a console section and an engine section that executes signal processing can operate consistently in accordance with control signals input to the console section and the engine section. The digital mixing system has a plurality of input signal systems and a plurality of output signal systems. Input signals from the input signal systems are subjected to a mixing process and the mixed signals are output to the output signal systems. In a console section, panel operating elements are used to input parameters relating to the mixing process, and a first control device generates a mixing control signal in response to operation of the panel operating elements or to a first control signal input via a first input terminal or a first communication interface, and outputs the mixing control signal to the first communication interface. In an engine section, a mixing processing device executes the above mixing process, and a second control device controls the mixing process executed by the mixing processing device in response to the mixing control signal input via a second communication interface and outputs a second control signal input via a second input terminal to the second communication interface. Communication lines connect between the first communication interface and the second communication interface.

摘要： A digital mixer provides audio signal processing functions to a user, who has logged into the digital mixer by inputting a user password, within limits of authority granted to the user. In the digital mixer, a mounting unit is provided for removably mounting a storage medium. a detector detects when the storage medium is mounted on the mounting unit and detects when the mounted storage medium is removed from the mounting unit. A determining portion determines whether or not a user key is stored in the mounted storage medium upon detecting that the storage medium is mounted on the mounting unit, and operates if a user key is stored in the mounted storage medium, for displaying a login screen associated with a user corresponding to the user key. A control portion allows the user to automatically log out the digital mixer upon detecting that the storage medium is removed from the digital mixer.
