摘要: A liquid droplet ejection head comprises an ejector, a liquid viscosity-increase prevention structure and a liquid viscosity-increase prevention controller. The ejector includes a nozzle for ejecting a liquid droplet, a pressure chamber communicating with the nozzle through a communication path, and an actuator for applying pressure to a liquid in the pressure chamber. The liquid viscosity-increase prevention structure prevents an increase of viscosity of the liquid in the ejector. The liquid viscosity-increase prevention controller changes the operation frequency of the liquid viscosity-increase prevention structure between when the liquid droplet is ejected from the nozzle and when ejection of the liquid droplet is paused and no liquid droplet is being ejected from the nozzle.

摘要: A conduction recording head forms an image on a recording sheet by connecting return path electrodes and recording electrodes conductively through a printing and recording medium. Recording electrodes, a drive circuit and connector electrodes are all disposed integrally on a flexible insulating film as a main head part which is disposed on a rigid support member through an elastic member.

摘要: The present invention provides an electrostatic attracting-type ink jet recording method by which an ink dot which has adhered to the recording medium or intermediate recording material can be prevented from affecting the drawing direction of the subsequently jetting ink, whereby an ink can be invariably allowed to jet onto a proper position to form an image with a high quality. An electrostatic attracting-type ink jet recording method is provided which comprises applying a voltage pulse across a recording electrode connected to a recording head and an opposing electrode disposed on the opposite side of a recording medium or intermediate recording material, whereby the resulting Coulomb's force causes an ink to jet onto said recording medium or intermediate recording material through an orifice in the recording head to form an image thereon, characterized in that the relaxation time of the ink calculated by multiplying the dielectric constant of the ink by the volume resistivity of the ink during the operation of ink jet recording is in the range of 0.01 to 2 times the ink jetting period.
