    摘要: A method of forming a damping plate from a fiberglass reinforced plastic base plate and a layer of cushioning material by utilizing a restrainer plate on the other side of the layer of cushioning material from the base plate and which is thinner than the base plate and no thicker than the layer of cushioning material. The cushioning material is formed with a plurality of openings so as to afford flow of liquid adhesive into the openings to assure uniform distribution and good bonding during assembly. The plate may be employed as a portion of a hull of a watercraft for sound deadening.
