Abstract:
In a radio communication apparatus for forming a frame with a plurality of slots, and inserting a guard interval into each slot along with data for a mobile station to perform communication, a receive state acquisition section acquires a receive state of each mobile station, a frame format decision section decides a frame format of which guard interval length is, different for each slot based on the receive state of each mobile station, a slot assignment section assigns each slot of the frame format to data for each mobile station, and a frame format reporting section reports the decided frame format to the mobile stations via a reporting channel. The mobile station identifies the GI length based on the reported frame format and the slot number, removes the guard interval, and performs processing.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for estimating a fading frequency of incoming received waves in a receiving station of a radio communication system or radio transmission system. An object of the invention is to estimate a fading frequency efficiently and accurately without substantially complexing the configuration of the system. To this end, the invention provides an apparatus for estimating a fading frequency from a pilot signal in a reception signal, which includes a calculation unit for calculating a magnitude of a complex product of two symbols that are received at different instants, and an estimation unit for estimating a fading frequency according to the calculated magnitude of the complex product.
Abstract:
An error correction decoding method using a correlating decoding technique is provided. The method includes the steps of estimating a decoding reliability of a decoding result using one or more correlation values acquired in a correlating process; and correcting the decoding result according to the decoding reliability.

Abstract:
A radio communication system includes a first server and a second server. The first server includes a first processor to receive, together with an identifier for identifying a base station, communication information transmitted from a plurality of mobile stations via the base station, extract, for the base station, a keyword frequently used in communications between the first server and the plurality of mobile stations on the basis of the received communication information and the received identifier, and transmit the extracted keyword together with the identifier. The second server includes a second processor to receive, together with the identifier, the keyword transmitted from the first server, and distribute distribution information corresponding to the received keyword to the plurality of mobile stations via the base station.
Abstract:
The present invention is a wireless communication system having a mobile station and a wireless base station, wherein the wireless base station further having a scheduling processing unit which divides system bandwidth into a plurality of wireless resource blocks in a frequency domain, performs scheduling so that other channels are not assigned to the wireless resource blocks which are adjacent to a first channel when the first channel whose frequency characteristic is not orthogonal to the other channels is assigned to a certain wireless resource block resulting from the division, and creates scheduling information on the scheduling that is performed; and a transmission unit which transmits the scheduling information created by the scheduling processing unit to the mobile station, and the mobile station transmits a channel signal to the wireless base station on the basis of the scheduling information and the wireless base station receives the channel signal transmitted from the mobile station.
Abstract:
In a channel estimating circuit, a Sync Word is demodulated by using a channel estimation value not with a symbol or a slot including the Sync Word to be demodulated, but with its preceding and succeeding symbols or slots. Furthermore, in a channel estimation process, if a Synch Word to be demodulated is included in any of groups into which a plurality of symbols are divided, the Sync Word is demodulated by using a channel estimation value obtained with the channel estimation process using not this group but another group.
