    摘要: Embodiments described herein are directed to methods for adaptively configuring a measurement period in a user equipment or another network node. The measurement period can be determined based at least in part on an assessment of one or more conditions, wherein each of the measurement periods is associated with at least one condition. The determined measurement period can be used for performing and/or reporting one or more measurements. According to certain embodiments, the measurement period may be adapted by maintaining concurrently two or more measurement filters with different measurement periods and then selecting the appropriate one, based on a condition assessment result.

    摘要: A wireless device obtains information associated with N layers, which may be used for cell reselection. The information comprises which M layers out of the N layers are to be used for monitoring according to detection and measurement requirements for absolute priority reselection. The wireless device monitors layers, of any priority, only out of the M layers, when one or more first signal measurements on a serving cell are below or equal to a first threshold, or when one or more second signal measurements on the serving cell are below or equal to a second threshold. The wireless device monitors layers with a priority higher than a priority of the serving layer out of the N layers when the one or more first signal measurements are above the first threshold, and when the one or more second signal measurements are above the signal threshold.

    摘要: Systems and methods relating to reconfiguration of a Carrier Aggregation (CA) enabled wireless device using a measurement gap are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a CA enabled wireless device in a cellular communications network comprises reconfiguring the wireless device during a measurement gap such that the wireless device is enabled to receive a first set of one or more carriers after the measurement gap that are different than a second set of one or more carriers that the wireless device was receiving before the measurement gap. In some embodiments, the reconfiguration of the wireless device during the measurement gap enables reconfiguration of the wireless device for measurements on a Secondary Component Carrier (SCC) of a configured and deactivated Secondary Cell (SCell) of the wireless device without serving cell interruption.

In some embodiments, a method of operation of a UE comprises obtaining a first DRX cycle for a Master/Main Cell Group (MCG) of the UE for a DC mode of operation and a second DRX cycle for a Secondary Cell Group (SCG) of the UE for the DC mode of operation and determining at least one reference DRX cycle for the UE. The method further comprises performing one or more radio measurements on one or more cells based on the at least one reference DRX cycle, the one or more radio measurements being one or more inter-frequency radio measurements and/or one or more inter-Radio Access Technology (RAT) radio measurements.
